C&N Twitch Connect

THIS MOD IS WIP, BUGS CAN OCCUR

Mod turns the streamer's Twitch chat into a live vote. When a chat command fires (e.g. !kill), a poll opens for a fixed number of seconds, viewers vote with chat shortcuts (0/1/+/-/yes/no/...), and once it ends the winning option is executed in-game. Each poll is shown to players as a tarot-card overlay with the available answers and a countdown; the winning card is revealed at the end.

 

Available chat commands

• !kill - kill the streamer
• !fullhealth - restore full health
• !halfhealth - cut current health in half
• !wolves - spawn 0/1/2/3 wolves nearby
• !bear - spawn a bear
• !drifters - spawn 0/1/2/3 drifters
• !toss - launch the streamer into the air (three intensities)
• !setonfire - set the streamer on fire
• !setday / !setnight - force time of day
• !startrain / !stoprain - control the weather
• !rtp - random-teleport the streamer (500/1000/1500 block radius)
• !giveitem - gift flint, sticks or rocks
• !dropinventory - drop everything the streamer carries
• !shuffle - scramble the streamer's hotbar
• !lightning - call a lightning strike on the streamer

Features

• Tarot-card poll overlay with countdown and animated reveal
• Per-command and global cooldowns to pace the chaos
• Optional whitelist / blacklist of voters
• Configurable target players (works for any player name, not just the host)
• Hot-reload of the command list via /ctc reload
• Offline debug mode - trigger polls locally without Twitch using /ctc trigger <name>

Setup

1. Go to the Twitch Developers console and create an application (redirect URI: http://localhost).
2. Launch the game once with the mod installed so the config file is generated.
3. Copy Client ID from your Twitch app into ClientId in the config.
4. Generate a Client Secret on the same page and paste it into ClientSecret.
5. Open the OAuth URL below in a browser (replace ClientId with your own). Authorize the app - Twitch redirects to http://localhost/?code=.... Copy the code value from the URL into AccessCode in the config.
6. Set Channel to your Twitch channel name and adjust PlayerNames for each command to match the in-game player(s) you want votes to affect.
7. Restart the game - the mod will exchange the access code for tokens and connect to chat automatically.

Tip: press F8 in-game (or run /ctcdebug) to open the debug panel when OfflineDebug is enabled in the config.
