Quick Summary: This mod pack is a unique twist on the game of Minecraft and Rewrites the Vanilla Minecraft story (if there ever was one). It is a moderately hard-core RPG fantasy action and adventure story mod pack with minimal tech (Create + 6 add-ons, And Refined Storage). Without giving any spoilers We have a complete back story Involving the Ender Dragon, The End dimension And a Progressive plot line where You will traverse 7-8 Dimensions in order to find your way back Home And "Escape The Skylands".

Story Spoiler:

No Spoilers! xD

Survive:

Escape from the Skyland's has moderately hardcore gameplay mechanics focused on vanilla++ survival. In these Skylands you will encounter new and terrifying monsters who have made this dimension their home. You will be able to traverse this dangerous landscape using a Starting Kit that includes a full set of iron armor and a set of 3 iron tools as well as a grappling hook and a paraglider. These tools will help you to navigate the terrain and help you avoid dangerous obstacles. If you were to fall to your death (which will happen) or be eaten alive, you will not lose your armor or your tool bar but you will lose a heart. To balance this mechanic you must learn how to survive the loss of your hearts and must use the land to aid you in your adventures. With over 900+ different foods to eat all across the Skylands you can regain your hearts using Spirit Orbs from the Paraglider mod, The Spice of Life Carrot mod (by eating new foods) with Farmers Delight and Pam's Harvest add-ons you can regain your lost hearts. So you won't be going hungry. Some might call this hard-core or unfair. But you will tame these lands..

Dimensions and Terrain:

Something is not quite right here.. there are rips and tears in the fabric of reality. These are extremely unpredictable and if you were to touch one you would be transported to another dimension. You won't get bored of the fantasy landscapes in these alternate dimensions. With Biomes O' Plenty and Tan's Huge Trees there is almost endless variety. (Not to mention The 14 procedural generated dimensions from the Multiverse mod) The Ecospherical Expansion mod and SkylandsCore allows you to progress between 7 different types of Skylands that are uniquely unusual and captivating. The first dimension is the most difficult to traverse and is the most "choatic" of the Skylands and as you move through the progression of "SkylandsCore" (our custom mod) the terrain will become more and more uniform until you have made it "Home".

Gameplay:

Dynamically enhanced fighting from the Better Combat mod and High quality weapons mods like "Simply Swords" and "RPG STYLE MORE WEAPONS" allows you to pick between five different classes. There is also a powerful skill tree where you can build your own class of Warrior, Mage, Healer, Wiazard and Rogue classes (RPG series mods) utilizing the "Simply Skills" mod will aid you in your battle against the night and the Ender Dragon's (Yes Ender Dragon'S. there are more than one). This mod pack has something for everyone. Unique block shapes created from the Framed Blocks mod and Chisel Reborn for added Decoration as well as furniture mods that can fit nearly any texture pack you wish. Apotheosis to add strength and variety for your weapons and armor for even more build-customization and mini-bosses that can drop high-teir loot... You will need to learn this mod in order to power-up your character.

Progression:

In this modpack The difficulty will slowly increase as time goes by and the distance in which you travel so be weary.. If you're not aware of these mechanics then you may overstep yourself. Built into the mod pack with SkylandsCore Is a dimensional progression system in which you will be utilizing the create mod and the special "ore" To build portals to each successive dimension. The first portal you will need to build is called "OG Stratophercal End Portal. Through this portal you will gain access to the first Ender Dragon Boss fight. You will be fighting a very old soul-essance of an Ender Dragon that was trapped inside a weapon.. (The Dragonbone Greatsword). Upon killing this Dragon you will receive this weapon (unfinished mechanic) and be teleported to the next dimension where you will need to build the next portal. Check the Skylands Guide book included in your StarterKit.
