Quick answer
Which Found Footage (Fanmade) release should I use?
Found Footage_1.0.zip is a complete pack release for 1.20.1 with Fabric 0.16.13. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 5 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Found Footage (Fanmade) for players and a server?
Use Found Footage_1.0.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Found Footage (Fanmade)?
Found Footage_1.0.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Found Footage_1.0.zip. That file is for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric 0.16.13. It contains 5 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.

Focused entirely on tone and immersion—with no unnecessary content to distract you—this pack is perfect for solo explorers or small multiplayer groups looking to dive into something weird, tense, and unforgettable.

📌 Key Features
Analog horror and Backrooms-inspired gameplay
Liminal space exploration in looping, eerie environments
Proximity voice chat for terrifying multiplayer realism
Lightweight and optimized for performance
Clean, minimalist setup—focused entirely on atmosphere
🕳️ How to Enter the Backrooms
To "noclip" into the Backrooms, you must die by suffocation—but not just any kind.
Only non-liquid suffocation will work. That means:
✅ Suffocation from sand, gravel, or other solid blocks
❌ Drowning will not work
This mechanic is intentional to preserve the eerie, grounded nature of the transition. You’ll know when it happens...
🧪 Useful Commands (Just in case reality breaks…)
If you're running custom events, filming content, or just want a little control over the chaos, these commands have you covered:
/skinwalker <target>
Force-spawns the skinwalker and has it take the identity of the specified target. Great for horror events—or to scare your friends. 👀/release <target>
