Thaumcraft has always been a mod about wonder, discovery, and the slow, deliberate slide into forbidden knowledge. This pack aims to preserve that feeling — not by speeding players to the endgame, but by encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and careful problem-solving.

This modpack is curated to be approachable, stable, and server-friendly. It avoids the usual “mod soup” chaos by

• Pairing down systems that overshadow Thaumcraft
• Restoring features missing from the 1.12 era
• Smoothing out progression gaps that can stall or frustrate play.

World generation and resource distribution have been tuned to ensure progression is driven by exploration and intent — not frustration from missing slimes, llamas, or vital biome types.

• Thaumic Augmentation restores the intended late-game research, lore, and dimensional content.
• Ender Storage & EnderIO replace unstable or loss-prone item routing systems with reliable, thematic alternatives.
• Builder utility is restored through wand-like tools and construction options that complement progression, not trivialize it.
• Biome variety is expanded with OTG + Traveler’s Dream to support meaningful exploration and atmosphere.
• Spawn rates & softlocks are tuned to prevent resource bottlenecks in both solo and community play.
