Clayblock
Explore, excavate and industrialize in this 1.21.1 world made out of clay! It will not be easy, but who said that balance comes for free?
Quick answer
Which Clayblock release should I use?
Clayblock-1.3.2.zip is a complete pack release for 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.219. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. For this loader, use Java 21. 100 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Clayblock for players and a server?
Use Clayblock-1.3.2.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Clayblock?
Clayblock-1.3.2.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Clayblock-1.3.2.zip. That file is for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.219. This NeoForge setup needs Java 21. It contains 100 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Clayblock?
We all know, that clay is foundation of all balance. But what if entire world was balanced this way?
Clayblock is 1.21.1 NeoForge challenge modpack, that drop you in the world made entirely out of clay blocks! Resources, that seem plentiful and disposable in normal Minecraft, will have to come from compressing, transforming and processing various kinds of compressed clay. Those processings include baking, smelting and even explosions. Are you up to the task to acquire fabled perfect 20x compressed clay, while surviving in unusual world of perfect balance?

**Features:**
- To be upfront: this pack will more difficult, than the others. Don't be discouraged by your limited amount of options and be ready to think outside of the box (hahahaha). Also check keybinds, you may learn something new.
- All three dimensions have been revamped to be composed entirely out of clay and clay-adjacent materials. Wacky clay forests, lichen-covered grottos, heated blaze vines, desolate crystal peaks, Temple of Color???
- Completely new sets of allies and enemies: breed cutesy Scrimblows, fend off oppressive Menaces, hunt down hellish Umvuthanas and battle Clay People for their technological treasures!
- All vanilla resources have to be obtained and automated in completely different ways! Activities include baking down clay for metals, exploding colored terracottas for common gems, collecting obsidian tears for water and harvesting the hellscape's riches for blast furnace!
- The End is not actually the end of journey! Ender Dragon is completely optional (but you can fight them for new materials and infrastructure pieces) and Nullscape-sourced biomes have blocks necessary to start Modern Industrialization.
- Modern Industrialization doesn't have steam age in this world. Instead you can make electric components right off the bat with familiar blasting, smelting and anvil physics! The new materials also have uses in encouraging underused parts of MI like liquid fuels.
- This pack has no usual digital or sophisticated storage solutions, but you can still have benefits of it with chest sorting and smart crafting table. It's how Modern Industrialization is meant to be played anyway.
- The modlist is just under 100 mods and can be played with just 2.5-3 GB of RAM, being accessible to all ages of hardware (and players).
- If you have any questions or feedback, be not afraid to press the button in pause or inventory. If you still have questions, Pablo from Hollow Knight: Pablo is here with his tips!
FAQ:
- What am I supposed to do?
- Check JEI's recipes or wait for Pablo's answer. He sometimes snoozes on his job.
- Is this pack balanced?
- Yes… probably. It depends on how much you understand clay.
