Genesis Architect
From nothing but the pebbles beneath your feet, craft your way to Sovereignty.
Quick answer
Which Genesis Architect release should I use?
Genesis Architect v1.4 is a complete pack release for 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.10. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 27 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Genesis Architect for players and a server?
Use Genesis Architect v1.4 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Genesis Architect?
Genesis Architect v1.4. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Genesis Architect v1.4. That file is for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.10. It contains 27 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Genesis Architect?
"What if Minecraft was more Craft than Mine?"
That was the question I had when I made this modpack. In Genesis Architect, you don't necessarily *have* to mine anything except stone; from the pebbles beneath your feet, you can bootstrap reality within your crafting grid and through the mechanical processes added by Create.
Using the hundreds of new recipes added, you'll progress through each of the modpack's Ages - Stonework, Biology, Industry, Synthetic Life, Magical Enhancement, Music and Culture, and finally Genesis - to personally invent, piece by piece, the items for which you'd normally have to go hunting, and some of which are normally inaccessible in Survival gameplay.
Custom-built items have been added to help balance progression, and EMI has been added to help guide you through each and every recipe. By the end of the progression, you'll have built an entire city of automated machines, all running with the explicit purpose of helping you achieve Divinity through Effort.
Ex Nihilo, Per Opus, Ad Divinum.
From Nothing, through Effort, to Divinity.
To begin a world in Genesis Architect, you'll need to decide what kind of experience you want. Regardless of which experience you choose, you will begin with a Netherite Pickaxe and a handful of Bread - the final artifacts of the Last Architect.
Curious Architect -
Begin a fresh Minecraft adventure. Explore a procedurally generated world with many new ways to get all those items you've been dreaming of having one day.
True Architect -
Begin on a SuperFlat world with this preset:
minecraft:bedrock,5*minecraft:stone;minecraft:the_void
This will generate an infinite stone plane for you to work with. From the pebbles beneath your feet, bootstrap reality. Good luck.
Divine Architect -
Begin on a SuperFlat world with the Void preset. This will generate a 33x33x1 stone platform for you to work with. From the pebbles beneath your feet, bootstrap renewable resources to save yourself from falling to your death. Your first goal is a cobblestone generator. Good luck.
Notable Changes
Summoned by the smashing of stone into pebbles, the Architect's Guide walks the player through each Age by highlighting certain recipes they may want to focus on.
Transitional items - like the Stone Pebble, Diamond Chunk, and Horn Mold - have been added with the intent of either bridging the gap between certain items, or further complicating them to maintain their normal relative value.
New resources have been added: Plastic for production of various synthetic or decorative materials, and Enderite for production of endgame objects and armor.
New equipment sets have been added: the Flower Armor, giving players increased control over their own movement, and the Ender Armor, granting players god-like power.
The magic system has been overhauled; while the Enchanting Table remains for dedicated old-school wizards, new magical Runes have been created to allow enchanters to write their own Enchanted Books.
Hello, and thank you for downloading and playing my modpack!
It may be a bit between updates, as I'm juggling life, other projects, and playtesting this to make sure it all works the way I want it to. I do plan to continue with this project in the future; keep an eye out for new updates so you can grab them as they drop!
This is my first published modpack of any kind - as such, I would love some feedback on it! Comments, posts, videos, or direct messages. I'm most active on Discord:

Reach out if you notice any glitches, have any suggestions, or if my progression banners catch fire.
All code was written with Visual Studio Code, using KubeJS and KubeJS Create. Every mod not immediately associated with Create or KubeJS was added in for QoL.
Thank you for your continued support!
Stay sleepy... Zzz
