is a NeoForge 1.20.1 modpack (161 mods)
Quick answer
Which Maul release should I use?
Maul-1.20.1-v1.7 is a complete pack release for 1.20.1 with NeoForge 47.1.99. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 195 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Maul for players and a server?
Use Maul-1.20.1-v1.7 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Maul?
Maul-1.20.1-v1.7. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Maul-1.20.1-v1.7. That file is for Minecraft 1.20.1 with NeoForge 47.1.99. It contains 195 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Maul?
Warning: this mod pack requires a very powerful computer, otherwise your computer might not fully appreciate it... in a way, actually...
It's a mod pack i created with a medieval theme. You can spend a lot of time doing things like... well... I have no idea what you want to do, why not try hardcore survival mode?
Honestly, hats to you if you manage to complete hardcore survival mode without any problems.
The main thing is to have fun in a world... a little over-the-top and a little medieval.
Thanks you, Serilum, you really make great mods!
Okay... you're probably wondering, "Why create a modpack in 1.20.1?" » The first reason is that I like this version, and the second is that the Whiter Storm mod forces me to do so.
In the modpack, you can kill the dragons and potentially obtain an egg, but beware of the graveyards, which are home to some rather annoying ghosts.
!!! WARNING !!! Your computer could really—and I mean *really*—not appreciate the mod that changes the Bastion.
Just so you know, if you want Aternos to offer the mod pack, it has to reach 10,000 downloads, otherwise they won't offer it.
or take paid servers that are relatively faster.
Shoutout to Dan Field—you were my number one favorite YouTuber. Rest in peace... (╯︵╰,)
Thanks to Foxy_devv for promoting my pack.
I added a little something for you in there, and it has to do with foxes.
I'm sorry if it's taking a while, but having to test the mods I add each time to see if they cause problems takes time.

🎮 I am looking for streamers and YouTubers to test and showcase my Minecraft modpack, "Maul."
✅ The first 6 creators to publish a video or stream featuring the pack will receive early access to future updates (2–3 days before the official release).
✅ All creators who help spread the word about the pack will be credited in the modpack's description.
✅ Creators can suggest mods to add, provided they maintain the pack's survival/dark fantasy atmosphere.
