⚙️ How to Customize Your Settings in v2.X

Adjusting Voxy LODs (View Distance & Quality):

Escape > Options > Video Settings > Voxy > Pixel Size / Render Distance You can easily change

the distant horizon quality, pixel size, and rendering range straight from this graphical user interface without touching any game files.

Changing the Pre-Generation Radius:

• If you have a high-end PC and want to pre-load a much larger area automatically, or if you want to pause the background engine, you can access the automation configurations via the config folder.
• Look for the chunky.json file inside your instance's config directory to fine-tune the default automated parameters to your liking.

Since v1.0 does not feature background automation, you need to use Chunky commands manually right after creating a new world. This ensures your processor pre-renders the map, preventing NoClassDefFound network errors and heavy FPS drops while Voxy loads distant horizons

Minecraft usually generates chunks in real-time as you explore, which causes massive stuttering when paired with heavy shaderpacks and LOD mods. Chunky generates your world before you explore it, so your PC only needs to read already-existing files, giving you a completely stutter-free experience.

📜 Essential Chunky Commands:

Run these commands in your chat console in order before you start exploring your new world:

1. /chunky radius 2500

   Sets the generation boundary. A 2500-block radius is highly recommended for an optimal balance between Voxy LOD view distance and generation time.

2. /chunky start

   Starts the pre-generation task. You will see a progress percentage in the chat. Once it reaches 100%, you are fully ready to fly and explore with maximum FPS!
