Pack setup
How should I set up Dragonologist's Field Journal for players and a server?
Use Dragonologist's Field Journal 1.11.0 - Field Expeditions Beta as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Dragonologist's Field Journal?
Dragonologist's Field Journal 1.11.0 - Field Expeditions Beta. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Dragonologist's Field Journal 1.11.0 - Field Expeditions Beta. That file is for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.10. It contains 8 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Dragonologist's Field Journal?
YOU ARE NOT GIVEN A DRAGON WIKI. 🐉 Unknown species are hidden throughout the world. 🔎 Study tracks, habitats and behavior. 📖 Build your field journal through real observations. 🥩 Experiment to discover how each creature can be tamed. No species list. No taming checklist. Discover it yourself.
Dragonologist's Field Journal turns a Minecraft survival world into a field research expedition. Begin with a journal, an editable notebook, paper, and a spyglass. No species list or total count is shown when you start.
Look for living creatures and collect field traces. Each trace has its own shape and field label so you can connect a sample to its journal record without learning the creature's identity too soon. A direct sighting opens a tentative field record and an in-game model portrait; observing through the spyglass confirms an identity. Each discovered record estimates how often the creature is encountered in its habitat, without ranking its strength. A short field guide and a gradual research route help you decide what to try next. Close inspections, habitat surveys, food trials, analysis at a craftable worktable, and a few special ecological observations add pages over time. Rare abandoned nests offer a separate, optional investigation. Your own notebook is there for hypotheses and failed experiments.
Taming follows each creature's actual behavior. The journal offers evidence and clues as you investigate, never an instant checklist of solutions. The pack favors distinct bodies, habitats, sizes, and behavior over recolored elemental variants. It is designed for exploration and natural history in survival, with combat only when a creature's own behavior calls for it.
Recipe browsing remains available. The pack configures JEI and the relevant creative tab to hide spawn eggs and selected revealing items. The in-game field journal is currently written in Spanish; this listing is bilingual so players know what to expect.
Requirements: Minecraft Java 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10, Java 17. Allocate about 6 GB of RAM to the profile. Create a new world for the intended discovery flow.

Busca animales y recoge indicios.
Requisitos: Minecraft Java 1.20.1, Forge 47.4.10 y Java 17.
