Xion Restaurant

Xion Restaurant is a ready-to-play quest map with its own mod. You run a restaurant: villager customers walk in, order food and wait at your counter. Serve them before their patience runs out, earn money, unlock new produce, upgrade your stands, hire staff and grow your restaurant to five stars.

Install the pack, open the Xion Restaurant world, name your restaurant on the lobby sign and press Play.

How to play

• Customers come to the counter with their order floating above their heads. The patience meter in the counter goes from green to red. Hand them their food (right-click) before it runs out, or they leave without paying.
• Money is your XP level. It is shared by all players, so friends on LAN run the restaurant together.
• Each stand has a sign and a button. Press the button to unlock the stand, then press it again to upgrade it. Upgrades make produce come back faster.
• Harvest crops, pick apples and berries, and catch fish. Animals drop their product in one hit and come back later.
• Cook in the kitchen: baked potatoes, steak, bread, soups, cookies, rabbit stew, pumpkin pie, cake and more. The menu wall shows which dishes are unlocked.

Growing your restaurant

• Stars: every purchase brings you closer to the next star. More stars bring more customers, longer queues and bigger orders.
• Multi-dish orders: up to 3 dishes, more time to serve, a bigger bill.
• VIP guests with an orange VIP tag pay 10× more. They are rare at first and come more often as your rating grows.
• Furnace upgrade: cooking time goes down from 10 s to 2 s per item.
• Kitchen perks: Hot Hands cooks the potatoes in your hand; Fire Aspect makes animals drop cooked meat.

Staff

• Farmers harvest crops and animals and bring everything to the kitchen chests. They fetch what the current orders need first.
• Cooks cook and craft dishes for waiting customers.
• Sellers serve the customers at their counter from the kitchen chests.

Lobby

• Play: go to the restaurant. The first press opens it.
• Reset game: start over from scratch.
• Restaurant name: write any name on the sign, and it appears in the boss bar.
• Press for respect: try it.

• Based on Restaurant Simulator: Head Chef by Pathway Studios and Mr Squishy, a Minecraft Marketplace map for Bedrock Edition (featured on minecraft.net). The core gameplay (serving villager customers, the patience bar, unlocking and upgrading produce, cooking, multi-dish orders, the five-star rating) and the Hot Hands / Fire Aspect upgrade names come from the original. Xion Restaurant mod written from scratch. No maps, textures or other assets from the original were used.
