🌲 Welcome to Daldons Winter Survival

A peaceful wilderness. A warm cabin. A freezing world. And something hiding in the woods.

Daldons Winter Survival is an immersive, winter-focused Minecraft survival modpack designed to combine realistic wilderness survival, breathtaking landscapes, cozy building, exploration, and subtle psychological horror.

Inspired by the atmosphere of remote forests, snowy mountains, and isolated cabins, this modpack offers a slower, more immersive approach to Minecraft.

Spend your days gathering resources, exploring vast forests, hunting, fishing, farming, and building your dream cabin. When night falls, return to the warmth of your home, light the fireplace, and listen to the wind outside.

But remember... not everything wandering through the forest is an animal.

🌨️ Realistic Winter & Survival

Surviving in the wilderness requires more than just food and shelter.

• Dynamic seasons with changing environmental conditions.

• Temperature-based survival featuring Cold Sweat and Natural Temperature.

• Realistic snow accumulation and enhanced winter environments.

• Snow-covered forests, freezing mountain landscapes, and immersive weather.

• Campfires and other sources of warmth that make survival feel more meaningful.

• Optional Eternal Winter for players seeking a more challenging, permanent winter experience.

Prepare for the cold, plan your journeys carefully, and always make sure you have somewhere warm to return to.

🏔️ A Beautiful World to Explore

Experience a world built around natural landscapes, wilderness exploration, and atmospheric environments.

Featuring mods such as Tectonic, Biomes O' Plenty, Expanded Ecosphere, and several environmental improvements, the world offers:

• Impressive mountain ranges and dramatic terrain.

• Dense spruce forests and beautiful taiga landscapes.

• Rivers, lakes, valleys, and remote wilderness.

• Enhanced vegetation and natural environments.

• Beautiful locations for building isolated cabins and settlements.

Whether you're exploring a mountain valley or searching for the perfect lakeside cabin location, the world is designed to make exploration rewarding.

🪵 Cozy Cabins & Immersive Building

One of the main focuses of Daldons Winter Survival is creating a place that truly feels like home.

Build a small wooden shelter, a mountain lodge, a lakeside retreat, or an entire rustic village.

With mods such as Cozy Timber, Cozy Rugs, Handcrafted, Macaw's collection, Supplementaries, Decorative Blocks, and many more, you'll have access to a wide variety of building and decorating possibilities.

• Detailed wooden construction materials.

• Rustic furniture and cabin decorations.

• Animal rugs, paintings, and interior accessories.

• Lanterns, fireplaces, and atmospheric lighting.

• Decorative doors, windows, roofs, fences, and pathways.

• Small details that bring warmth and personality to your home.

The colder it gets outside, the better your cabin feels inside.

🦌 Wildlife, Farming & Wilderness Living

The forests are full of life.

Discover a wider variety of wildlife through Alex's Mobs, natural environment additions, and improved livestock systems.

Live off the land through hunting, fishing, farming, and gathering resources.

• Explore environments filled with wildlife.

• Go fishing in rivers and lakes.

• Raise livestock and care for animals.

• Grow crops and establish your own farm.

• Travel with animal companions.

• Create a sustainable wilderness lifestyle.

The goal isn't simply to survive. It's to build a life in the wilderness.

🍲 Cooking & Food Variety

Food is an important part of the survival experience.

Featuring Farmer's Delight, Croptopia, Aquaculture, and numerous cooking expansions, the modpack introduces an extensive variety of meals, ingredients, and food preparation options.

• Prepare homemade meals and warm dishes.

• Cook meat, fish, and other ingredients.

• Explore expanded farming and fishing systems.

• Build functional, cozy kitchens.

• Enjoy cooking as part of everyday cabin life.

After a long journey through the frozen wilderness, there's nothing better than returning home to a warm meal.

🌑 Subtle Horror & Unexplained Phenomena

The wilderness is beautiful. But you're not always alone.

Daldons Winter Survival includes a small collection of horror mods designed to add mystery, tension, and unexpected encounters without turning the entire experience into a horror game.

Featuring creatures and encounters from mods such as:

• Bigfoot Into The Woods

• The Knocker

• The Blind Stalker

• The Shy Guy

• BlanketGhost

Combined with True Darkness, atmospheric fog, ambient sounds, and realistic sound effects, even an ordinary walk through the woods can become unsettling.

Hear unusual noises in the distance. Notice something moving between the trees. Wonder whether that shadow was really there.

Horror is a secondary element of the modpack. The main focus remains wilderness survival, exploration, and cozy living, with occasional moments of suspense.

🔥 Immersion & Atmosphere

Every detail matters.

The modpack includes several improvements designed to make Minecraft feel more atmospheric and alive.

• AmbientSounds and Ambient Environment for natural surroundings.

• Sound Physics Remastered for more immersive audio.

• Presence Footsteps for improved movement sounds.

• True Darkness for darker, more atmospheric nights.

• Additional animations and environmental effects.

• Enhanced lighting, visual details, and world ambience.

From the crackling of a campfire to the sounds of the forest at night, the atmosphere is an essential part of the experience.

🛠️ Quality of Life & Performance

Despite its extensive content, Daldons Winter Survival also includes performance and quality-of-life improvements.

Mods such as Embeddium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, EntityCulling, and ImmediatelyFast help improve the overall experience.

Additional features include:

• Improved inventory and storage options.

• Helpful crafting and recipe interfaces.

• Minimap and world map functionality.

• Convenient exploration and navigation tools.

• Multiple optimization improvements.

• Various quality-of-life additions.

Performance may vary depending on your hardware, settings, shaders, and render distance.
