Pack setup

How should I set up Blood and Steel for players and a server?

Use Blood and Steel-1.0.0.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.

Client instance Install Blood and Steel-1.0.0.zip
Dedicated server setup Match Blood and Steel-1.0.0.zip
Pack loader Forge 12.18.3.2297

A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.

Referenced mods 67
Client only 0
Server only 0
Not labelled 67

These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.

What are the server requirements for Blood and Steel?

Blood and Steel-1.0.0.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.

67 mods in this pack file

The selected pack release is Blood and Steel-1.0.0.zip. That file is for Minecraft 1.10.2 with Forge 12.18.3.2297. It contains 67 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.

About this project

What kind of pack is Blood and Steel?

The dead walk the world, slaying all in there path. Few colonies managed to escape the horde. Mankind used to live in underground cities. The surface held the dangers of creepers and endermen. The humans response was the zombie virus. A reanimation serum, it would make its subjects stronger, tougher, and even immortal. So long as a skin cell remained, the zombie would live on. The serum backfired, making mindless beast, and skeletons. A mutation in the virus caused one zombie to regain its old memories as a beekeeping engineer. You are the engineer.

Blood and Steel is a 1.10 modpack based around Immersive Engineering, Forestry, and AE2. There is no quest, as i tried to keep the modpack as small as possible but fun. Recurrant Complex and Roguelike dungeons make sure you will want to explore.Only immersive engineering can generate RF, and regular tools can't bee crafted. Tinker's tools WILL BE required UNLESS you find other tools in a dungeon. The Spice of Life is in his pack but is disabled by default.
