Life in the village
Lowtech, quests, exploration and building-based vanilla+ modpack focused around town-building mods like Millenaire and Minecolonies.
Quick answer
Which Life in the village release matches 1.12.2 Forge?
LITV-1.25 [MC1.12.2] is a complete pack release for 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2860. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 166 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Life in the village for players and a server?
Use LITV-1.25 [MC1.12.2] as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Life in the village?
LITV-1.25 [MC1.12.2] on 1.12.2 Forge. The pack contents and setup notes below stay tied to that release.
The selected pack release is LITV-1.25 [MC1.12.2]. That file is for Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2860. It contains 166 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.

This pack is based around Millenaire and Minecolonies mods and it can be casual or challenging as you want it to be. It's so called Vanilla+ modpack that will enhance your 'close-to-vanilla' gameplay and add some new features to explore and interact with, like new village system(Millenaire mod), different terrain generation, ore processing system and a lot more(see features list for details).
I've seen firsthand how BisectHosting goes above and beyond for their clients. Their commitment to performance and customer satisfaction is why I've chosen them as my long-term hosting partner.

If you're considering hosting your own server, I encourage you to give them a try. My special code xdreamz will get you 25% off your first month – thank you for supporting me!"
Millenaire mod adds NPC villages based on different cultures that completely lives their own life. They will develop their village by building and upgrading structures. You can help them to grow by selling them resources and doing quests. With that reputation you can buy equipment or relics and request to build a house for you.
Minecolonies will allow you to create your own colony where citizens will obey your will. Mainly, they will build, gather resources, upgrade their buildings and all of that under your control. You will plan and command their moves.
Themes I had in mind while creating this pack:
Create immersive buildings and settlements with integrated simple machinery to Process and craft materials while Exploring new lands and delving into dungeons to Colonize and discover new cultures to help them.
