The Kitchen Sink 2
The Mod-pack for The Kitchen (WHFF)
Quick answer
Which The Kitchen Sink 2 release should I use?
The Kitchen Sink 2-.90a.zip is a complete pack release for 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2847. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 198 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up The Kitchen Sink 2 for players and a server?
Use The Kitchen Sink 2-.90a.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for The Kitchen Sink 2?
The Kitchen Sink 2-.90a.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is The Kitchen Sink 2-.90a.zip. That file is for Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge 14.23.5.2847. It contains 198 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is The Kitchen Sink 2?
The Kitchen Sink 2 is exactly what the name would lead you to believe, well, it's the shiny new version!
If you loved the gross medley of mods that formed a staple in your gaming life, then you'll probably like this maybe :|
This mod-pack is made for the Discord server "The Kitchen (WHFF)" and it's "Unique" users.
With environmental mods like "Biomes O' Plenty", "Forestry", and "Pam's HarvestCraft" to give you a well rounded exploration experience.
There are loads of Tech mods like "Draconic Evolution", "Refined Storage", "Environmental Tech", "Tinkerers Construct", "Immersive Engineering", and "Mekanism" to beef up your storage, energy generation, and general automation.
There are even a few magic mods like "Botania", "Astral Sorcery", and "Thaumcraft" for all you casters out there.
The biggest change between "The kitchen Sink" and "The Kitchen Sink 2" Is the quest book!
As of the release of 0.75, it's not complete, but once the pack is out of beta we plan to have gated at least "Mystical Agriculture" and "Psi" behind the quest book, if not other mods that caused certain...problems in being available too soon in a kitchen sink type mod-pack.
