Quick answer
Which Dragon Light release should I use?
Dragon Light XXL(Rework) is a complete pack release for 1.16.5 with Forge. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. Could not safely read this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up Dragon Light for players and a server?
Use Dragon Light XXL(Rework) as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
What are the server requirements for Dragon Light?
Dragon Light XXL(Rework). Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Dragon Light XXL(Rework). That file is for Minecraft 1.16.5 with Forge. We could not safely count the mods in this release. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Dragon Light?
No Ice and Fire yet in Fabric/1.17
-The main Version of Dragon Light will update to 1.17 once Ice and Fire releases for Forge 1.17
but there will be a earlier Version of Forge 1.17 without Ice and Fire
-The fabric Version of Dragon Light will update whenever I find good fitting mods
Im now partnered with Bisecthosting and with my Promocode: any new client will get 25% off their first month on any of Bisecthostings gaming servers.
It would support me and Bisecthosting, so if you search for a good minecraft server to play on with your friends Bisecthosting is your way to go.
Also i can now say what ram i recommend using with my modpack, server and singleplayer.
I would recommend atleast 4GB, but rather 12GB(12GB only Singleplayer, for a Server 4 should work fine) for the 1.12.2 and 1.16.5 XL Versions
and just 4GB for the base 1.16.5 Version and the Fabric Versions, although i dont need more than 3GB to run it fine in singleplayer.
