What changed?

Minecraft 26.1.2 • Updated to Minecraft 26.1.2, all mods updated New main menu • Cleaner layout that also fits small screens like the Steam Deck • "▶ HeXHub.net" joins the server directly, hover to see player count and ping • Discord, Mods and Realms moved to the bottom row Settings overhaul • Settings reworked across the board and tuned for each edition • Enhanced: render distance 12, otherwise close to vanilla defaults • Handheld: render distance 6, slightly reduced particles and biome blending, lighter shader (Complementary Reimagined) • Potato: render distance 3 with Distant Horizons up to about 1 km, graphics based on the Fast preset while still looking decent • Fullscreen is no longer forced; the pack starts in fullscreen once, after that it's your choice • Minimap radar, cave mode and player tracking are off by default Fixes • Distant Horizons settings are applied again (they were reset on every first launch) • Resource packs are no longer silently disabled on first launch • Main menu buttons no longer overlap or end up in the wrong place • Several smaller config errors fixed Controller • Controller support now uses Controlify instead of MidnightControls Removed • xali's Bushy Leaves (Enhanced), cost noticeable FPS in jungles • C2ME, no benefit in multiplayer Note for existing installs • New default settings only apply to new installs • To get them, delete options.txt in your instance folder (this also resets your keybinds) Tip for smoother Distant Horizons Add to the Java arguments in your launcher: • Enhanced: -Xms6G -Xmx6G -XX:+UseZGC • Handheld: -Xms5G -Xmx5G -XX:+UseZGC • Potato: -Xmx3G to -Xmx4G, keep the default garbage collector
