PwrDown's Fallout Apocalypse
Turn Minecraft into a Fallout game, with a combination of mods and resource packs
Quick answer
Which PwrDown's Fallout Apocalypse release should I use?
PwrDownFallout-1.zip is a complete pack release for 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.0. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 30 mods in this pack file.
Pack setup
How should I set up PwrDown's Fallout Apocalypse for players and a server?
Use PwrDownFallout-1.zip as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for PwrDown's Fallout Apocalypse?
PwrDownFallout-1.zip. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is PwrDownFallout-1.zip. That file is for Minecraft 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.0. It contains 30 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is PwrDown's Fallout Apocalypse?
This pack will turn Minecraft into a Fallout game! Explore the Wasteland, build Settlements and defend yourself from Ghouls and Synths. Including mods such as:
- Better Weather: Different seasons throughout your time in the Wasteland, which influence the weather events that can happen. The mod includes Blizzards, Acid Rain and Cloudy Skies to really make you feel like you're in a post apocalyptic world!
- Doggy Talents: Have your very own Dogmeat explore the world with you. Thanks to Doggy Talents, you can change the textures of your Dog, and feed it training treats in order to train it to do different abilities. Adds a lot more life and AI to wolves!
- Fallout Inspired Power Armor: Find Power Armor buried in the ground, dig it up, repair it and equip it so that you have increased defenses, as well as different abilities. There's 5 sets of Power Armor to collect, and the mod also includes a Vault-like dungeon, where you can fight off raiders to collect loot.
- Fallout Wasteland: Features a new dimension, which is designed to resemble the world from Fallout. Features lots of creatures, like Super Mutants, Ghouls, Synths, Bloatflies and Robobrains. Also includes a few craftable weapons and blocks.
- The Lost Cities: Add post-apocalyptic cities to your world, which are always fun to explore and build from. Turn them into functioning Settlements, or just bases!
This pack makes use of some Texture & Resource Packs too, which allow a lot of items to turn into their Fallout counterparts. Aswell as turning Villagers into actual player models. Some items from Fallout Wasteland are unobtainable without entering the dimension. If you place an Iron Block down in a Village, a Village will take up the Wastelander profession, and will convert Iron Ingots into the Ingots from the mod for you. Have Player Villagers loaded first, then Vault Pack, and then Fallout Paradise resource pack. Don't enable the Player Villages pack if you aren't using Optifine.
