Pack setup
How should I set up Here Be Dragons for players and a server?
Use Here Be Dragons 2.1 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.
A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.
These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.
What are the server requirements for Here Be Dragons?
Here Be Dragons 2.1. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.
The selected pack release is Here Be Dragons 2.1. That file is for Minecraft 1.16.5 with Forge 36.2.34. It contains 148 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.
About this project
What kind of pack is Here Be Dragons?
This modpack gives Minecraft a medieval flavor to the game. It enhances the combat using the epic fight mod, making interactions with mobs like, 'Barako The Sun Chief' and the common mutants, much more satisfyingly difficult. It also enhances the automation capabilities in Minecraft using mods like create. The world generation in this modpack adds a beautiful refreshment for the eyes, with mods like Biomes O' Plenty (of course) and the BetterEnd mod; as well as an assortment of mods that add amazing new structures and ruins to explore. This modpack is intended for friends.
This Modpack is best played with 8gb of ram allocated for Minecraft (or above of course). If you don't know how to allocate more ram, click HERE.
