Quick answer

Which Legendary Adventures release should I use?

Updated 2 years ago
Latest stable file Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1
Game version 1.18.2
Loader Forge 40.2.0

Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1 is a complete pack release for 1.18.2 with Forge 40.2.0. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 228 mods in this pack file.

Pack setup

How should I set up Legendary Adventures for players and a server?

Use Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.

Client instance Install Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1
Dedicated server setup Match Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1
Pack loader Forge 40.2.0

A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.

Referenced mods 228
Client only 10
Server only 0
Not labelled 218

These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.

What are the server requirements for Legendary Adventures?

Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.

228 mods in this pack file

The selected pack release is Legendary Adventures - 1.4.1. That file is for Minecraft 1.18.2 with Forge 40.2.0. It contains 228 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.

About this project

> 300+ structures to bring your world to life!

> Hundreds of new mobs to encounter!

> Naturally spawning AI humans to befriend or to fight!

> Multiple new bosses and dimensions to expand your adventure!

> A lot of new weapons, armor and equipment to give you a chance against a wide variety of challenging mobs!

> NEW Massive and advanced quest-line with reward systems to guide the player(s) in their adventure!

> This modpack is way more fun with friends!

This modpack is all about adventure, upgrading gear and defeating bosses. The extensive quest-line helps the player a lot throughout adventuring.

In every new world the player will spawn in a significantly better looking village with guard villagers. The village can provide the player with loot and protection as there are a lot of new challenging and interesting mobs.
There is a boss order list in the quest menu where players can follow the quest-line and eventually defeat all the bosses (also past Ender Dragon) to complete the game.
Most bosses are modified in health and/or damage, the Ender Dragon and Wither have been improved with new mechanics as well as improvement of difficulty the more it gets killed. This modpack is being updating regularly and is still looking for a good final boss. Either way this modpack is a lot of fun and quite a challenge so good luck.
