The Hon'bar modpack is designed to enhance the Minecraft experience specifically for players on the Hon'bar SMP server, though it's equally functional on any other vanilla-compatible server. This pack brings together mods that focus on performance optimization, adding proximity voice chat using Simple Voice Chat for immersive multiplayer interactions, and ensuring smoother gameplay compatibility with the Hon'bar server.

Simply Optimized selection of light client-side mods for the Hon’Bar VC SMP server. This includes various optimization mods along with a few enhancements to improve the game, such as:

• Sodium: Powerful rendering engine and optimization mod
• Iris: Modern shader pack loader for Minecraft intended to be compatible with existing OptiFine shader packs
• Bobby: Allows for render distances greater than the server's view-distance
• Nvidium: Fast NVIDIA-only rendering engine for Sodium
• Sounds: Minecraft mod that adds a variety of new sound effects and improves existing ones that don't quite fit
• Sound Physics Remastered: A Minecraft mod that provides realistic sound attenuation, reverberation, and absorption through blocks
• Xaero's MiniMap: Displays a map of the nearby world terrain, players, mobs, and entities in the corner of your screen
• Presence Footsteps: Adds new and more dynamic sounds for every block the player walks on. Every block has its own material assigned to it and can make their own, customized sounds to better match what they're made of
• Cave Dust: Minecraft mod that adds the white ash particle from the Basalt Deltas biome to the underground to simulate dust
• Jade: Shows information about what you are looking at

Why Use Our Modpack?

This pack is designed for players who want to enhance their Minecraft gameplay without changing the core mechanics of the game. It focuses on improving performance, making interactions more immersive, and ensuring that players can fully engage with the Hon'bar SMP server's unique features without compatibility issues.

While this modpack will work well on other vanilla-compatible servers, we recommend installing it primarily if you intend to play on Hon'bar.
