Quick answer

Which OptiMobile+ release should I use?

Updated 2 months ago
Latest stable file OptiMobile+ 1.3
Game version 1.21.11
Loader Fabric 0.19.2

OptiMobile+ 1.3 is a complete pack release for 1.21.11 with Fabric 0.19.2. Install it as its own launcher instance. If the creator publishes a separate server file, make sure it names this exact pack release. 15 mods in this pack file.

Pack setup

How should I set up OptiMobile+ for players and a server?

Use OptiMobile+ 1.3 as the pack version. Install the pack as its own launcher instance. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file, so check the release notes before setting up a dedicated server. Do not upload the ordinary client folder blindly.

Client instance Install OptiMobile+ 1.3
Dedicated server setup Match OptiMobile+ 1.3
Pack loader Fabric 0.19.2

A pack is a matched client and server setup, not one mod with an install-side label. Keep its release, loader, manifest and overrides together.

Referenced mods 15
Client only 6
Server only 0
Not labelled 9

These numbers come from the pack file you chose. “Not labelled” means we don’t know which side it belongs on—not that it is safe everywhere. The file count is not a RAM estimate.

What are the server requirements for OptiMobile+?

OptiMobile+ 1.3. Change the pack release and its contents or setup may change too.

15 mods in this pack file

The selected pack release is OptiMobile+ 1.3. That file is for Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric 0.19.2. It contains 15 mod projects. The creator’s listing does not name a separate server file. Check their notes before using one, and do not upload an ordinary client folder or rebuild the pack mod by mod. A file count cannot tell us the right RAM, CPU or storage; size the server for the players and world you actually run.

About this project

What kind of pack is OptiMobile+?

What is this for?

OptiMobile+ was made for mobile Java players using Amethyst or Zalith Launcher. This enhanced version of the mod pack is focused on delivering higher FPS, smoother gameplay, and a more stable overall experience on mobile devices.

OptiMobile+ includes Sodium, a performance optimization mod designed to improve rendering efficiency and reduce lag. The pack also comes with carefully selected mobile-compatible shaders. However, not every device can handle every shader smoothly depending on hardware limitations.

The recommended shader for most devices is Makeup Lite because it provides a balanced visual upgrade while still maintaining good performance even on lower-end phones.

Unlike normal optimization packs, OptiMobile+ is tuned specifically to reduce stuttering, improve frame consistency, and make gameplay feel more responsive. Still, keep realistic expectations - optimization helps performance, but it cannot fully compensate for extremely weak hardware.

Help, it's not loading?

Sodium developers and Amethyst developers have had conflicts in the past, so avoid requesting Sodium support in those Discord servers.

This mod pack was built using mods that were personally tested and confirmed working on mobile devices, including lower-spec phones. If the game is not loading, double-check your launcher setup and renderer configuration.

Help, 1.16.5 isn't working?

Minecraft 1.16.5 requires either Zink or Krypton Wrapper Renderer for Sodium to function correctly. Zink is also recommended if you want shader compatibility.

Will there be other versions?

Yes. More Minecraft versions are planned in the future, but currently OptiMobile+ focuses on the latest stable versions first.

Does this pack have shaders?

Yes. The pack includes optimized shaders designed for mobile performance and stability. Shader support may vary depending on Minecraft version and device capability.

You can also install additional shaders yourself and experiment with what runs best on your phone.

The mod pack crashes?

Make sure you are using the correct renderer. Sodium requires LTW or Mobile Glues to function properly. Incorrect launcher configuration is one of the most common causes of crashes.

When configured correctly, OptiMobile+ is designed to provide a significantly more stable gameplay experience compared to many standard mobile Java setups.

Can I add other mods?

Yes. You are free to install additional mods alongside OptiMobile+.

The pack intentionally focuses on performance optimization and stability instead of unnecessary extras, allowing users to customize their experience further.

Does this work on PC?

Yes, it works on PC as well. On desktop systems you can combine OptiMobile+ with mods like C2ME, Chunky, or Distant Horizons for even greater performance improvements.

Some of those mods are not fully compatible with mobile devices, which is why they are not included by default.
