What changed?
Hello everyone! It’s been a long time since the last release for Chronos Client, but in this time I was working on a complete rebuild of Chronos Client, featuring the latest performance boosting mods available on Modrinth. I tried performance testing all mods one-by-one and measuring how big of a performance boost they give, and I only added those, which actually made a difference on my machine. This results in a 189% increase in performance (on my machine, this could be very different on your computer). But wait, there is more! Returning to Chronos Client’s origins, 1.6.0 features more Quality of Life mods, including: Midnight Controls for controller support, Borderless Mining for multi-monitor support, and Spark for performance profiling. This is not final, and I’m looking for your ideas, so if you have any suggestions for new mods (not just QOL), please join our Discord and let me know! PS. Discord RPC is currently not working, because of incompatibilities and performance concerns. I’m looking forward to adding it back, but I wasn’t able to configure any other RPC mods available how I wanted, and Simple Discord RPC is just not working for me.
