About this project
What does BetterClaim add?

BetterClaim is a territory claiming mod for Hytale servers. Protect chunks from outsiders, manage parties with a full GUI, view claims on the world map, set personal homes, and manage everything under a single command: /bc
Built for players and server communities who want chunk protection, parties, and territory tools in one place.
Disclaimer: Mod inspired by SimpleClaims.
Hub and claim map

BetterClaim hub (/bc): open claim map, party settings, or create a party.

Hub while you are already in a party (Create party hidden).

Claim map: terrain background, left-click claim / right-click unclaim, chunk counter.

Saved deny zones (orange outline on the claim map) next to your claims (blue).
Party

Party settings: name, description, members, allies, VIEW / LOGS / party color.

Party color page — tint updates on /bc and the world map (M).

Non-members permissions — what visitors may do in your chunks.

Member permissions — per-member overrides inside the party.

Activity log — recent claim/party actions per member.
Admin and deny zones

/bc admin staff menu.

Deny zones panel before any region is saved.

Deny zones with a saved region (name + coordinates, Remove).

Deny zone selection map — live orange preview while picking corners.

Admin — select player to claim or manage for another player.
Main Features
- BetterClaim hub:
/bcopens a launcher for the claim map, party settings, and party creation - Individual player claims: each player owns their chunks; parties set cross-member permissions, not a shared claim pool
- Claim-denied regions (deny zones): admins mark rectangular no-claim zones via
/bc admin→ Deny zones (interactive map + Save) or/bc admin denyzonechat commands; saved zones show on the claim map; live preview on/bcand world map (M) only while selecting - Interactive claim map: terrain background, left-click claim / right-click unclaim, live chunk counter
- Compact party GUI: name, description, members, allies, activity logs, permission subpages, and party color page
- Party color: updates claim tint on
/bcand the world map (M) - Chunk protection: block place, break, interact, PvP, chests, doors, benches, chairs, portals, and tamed entities — per party and per member
- Party system: create parties, invite members, transfer ownership, kick, leave, and disband (claims stay personal)
- Allies system: add player or party allies with separate permission settings
- Territory activity log: open LOGS in the party GUI to review recent actions per member
- World map overlay: claimed chunks appear on the Hytale world map (can be disabled in config)
- Particle borders: soft glow markers along external chunk borders when you are near claimed territory
- Playtime claim gain: earn bonus claim chunks over time (configurable)
- Personal homes: set multiple homes inside your claims with cooldown
- LuckPerms-ready: optional LuckPerms mod; dynamic limit nodes use inherited group permissions when present
- World claim blacklist: block claiming in configured world names
- Tamed entity and bucket protection: configurable outsider rules inside claims
- SQLite persistence: claims, parties, homes, deny zones, player data, and activity logs
- Multi-language UI: English, Portuguese (BR), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Chinese
