About this project

What does HydraSoil add?

HydraSoil is a Hytale server mod that replicates Minecraft's water irrigation system — tilled soil within a 4-block radius of a water source is automatically hydrated.

Features

  • Automatically hydrates Soil_Dirt_Tilled blocks within a 4-block radius of any water source

  • Applies the correct visual state — Watered or Fertilized_Watered — depending on whether the soil has been fertilized by the player

  • Instant detection when soil is tilled near water

  • Automatic renewal every ~10 seconds — if water is removed, soil dries naturally via Hytale's native farming system

  • Zero performance impact — pure native ECS, no external scheduler, no memory tracking

⬇️ Installation

  • Download the latest HydraSoil.jar

  • Place it in your server's UserData/Mods/ folder

  • Start the server — no configuration needed

🌱 How It Works

  • Till the soil with a hoe

  • Place a water source block within 4 blocks (horizontal)

  • Within up to 10 seconds, all tilled soil in range will be hydrated automatically

  • Remove the water and the soil will dry naturally — Hytale handles the rest

✔️ Compatibility

  • No dependencies

  • Compatible with other mods
