Quick answer
Which Machine Blocks release should I use?
Machine Blocks AipocsHouse_MachineBlocks-1.4.4.jar targets 0.5. Do not install it as a separate client mod. Enable it on the world host—the local server in singleplayer or the dedicated server in multiplayer. No required dependencies listed for this file.
Where it goes
Where should Machine Blocks be installed in Hytale?
Do not install it as a separate client mod. Enable it on the world host—the local server in singleplayer or the dedicated server in multiplayer.
Put Hytale mods on the world host or dedicated server. Singleplayer runs a local server too; Hytale does not use separate client mods.
What else does Machine Blocks AipocsHouse_MachineBlocks-1.4.4.jar need?

About this project
What does Machine Blocks add?
Machine Blocks
From Stone to Steel. From One Machine to an Industrial Empire.
Machine Blocks is a large-scale industrial progression mod inspired by technology mods such as Mekanism for Minecraft, while building its own identity through original machines, recipes, multiblocks, automation systems, and Hytale-style factory progression.
My long-term goal is for Machine Blocks to grow into a major technology mod of similar scale, but with its own systems and direction. This is the largest mod I have ever created. Reaching that goal will take time, experimentation, failure, rebuilding, and a great deal of learning.
Machine Blocks is still a work in progress. Please be patient, report problems, and share your feedback and suggestions. They are always welcome.
Read the latest patch notes for information about newly added machines, power systems, and ore-processing tiers.
Build an Industrial Empire
Machine Blocks transforms basic resources into a long-term industrial progression.
Begin with simple furnaces, crushers, and resource-processing machines. Produce better fuels, refine advanced metals, construct automated factories, and eventually operate chemical processing lines, wireless power networks, expandable gas storage banks, and Hydrogen turbines.
This mod is designed to be a grind. Progression requires infrastructure, materials, and planning. It is not intended to be easy, although an Easy Mode is available for resource-limited servers.
As your industry expands, you will need to redesign your factory around processing speed, power generation, storage, logistics, and automation. With Modern Storage by ModernKnight, machines can become part of a larger managed production network.
Features
Industrial Machines
- Four tiers of Furnaces
- Four tiers of Ore Crushers
- Four tiers of Hide Dryers
- Factory Furnaces and Factory Crushers with multi-lane processing
- Alloyers, Fuel Processors, Hydroponic Planters, Tree Cultivators, Fishing machines, and more
- Larger and more specialized machines throughout the progression
- Increasing speed, capacity, and throughput with every tier
Ore Processing
- Ore Sieves that convert ordinary rock and water into valuable ores
- Multiple processing routes with increasing material yields
- Crushing, acid cleaning, washing, chemical oxidation, grinding, and smelting
- Complete Tier 4 electrochemical processing for supported metals
- Gas Makers and Oxidation Chamber multiblocks
- Reusable catalysts and chemical drums
- Recoverable Chemical Sludge and Industrial Slag byproducts
Turn one piece of raw ore into increasingly larger yields—but expect every additional ingot to require more machinery, chemistry, and questionable engineering decisions.
Factory Automation
- Factory Manager control and monitoring
- Modern Storage network integration
- Machine recipe and fuel configuration
- Automatic input and output management
- Production rules based on stored item quantities
- Master power controls
- Machine searching and live operating statistics
- Configurable item pipes with Transport, Pull, and Push roles
- Basic, Advanced, Elite, and Ultimate pipe tiers
- In-place pipe upgrades that preserve network configuration
Power Generation
- Expandable modular Wireless Generators
- Persistent energy storage and fuel reserves
- Efficiency, cooling, capacitor, transmitter, and recovery modules
- Permanent Wireless Power Couplers
- Wireless Power Extenders for long-distance relay networks
- Player-bound power channels and optional Simple Claims sharing
- Factory Manager power monitoring
- Thermal and Hydrogen turbine generation in the same structure
Hydrogen and Gas Infrastructure
- Gas Makers that produce Hydrogen and Oxygen
- Direct gas export through dedicated Pressurized Gas Pipes
- Separate Hydrogen and Oxygen networks
- Expandable Pressurized Gas Storage Banks
- Three storage tiers with whole-bank upgrades
- Canister loading and filling
- Automatic overflow protection
- Hydrogen-powered Gas Turbines
- Animated compressors, combustion chambers, gas flow, and turbine rotors
Hydrogen provides clean industrial power when transported, stored, and burned correctly. Incorrect procedures provide significantly shorter progression.
Fuel Production
- Convert vegetables and other organic materials into machine fuel
- Produce increasingly powerful fuel products
- Reduce dependence on constant forest harvesting
- Reclaim selected industrial byproducts
- Build complete automated fuel-production chains
Farming and Resource Production
- Automated crop production through Hydroponic Planters
- Automated tree cultivation
- Industrial fishing
- Ore generation from rock and water
- Expanding support for renewable factory resources
- Stone generation remains in development
In-Game Documentation
Machine Blocks includes integrated Voile documentation covering:
- Machine construction and operation
- Ore-processing progression
- Fuel production
- Factory automation
- Item pipe networks
- Wireless power
- Hydrogen production and storage
- Generator modules and turbine systems
- Recipes, components, IDs, and configuration
Progress Through Industry
Every machine unlocks another step in the production chain.
Crush ore. Refine metals. Produce alloys and fuels. Automate crops and resources. Manage your factory through a storage network. Build modular generators, extend wireless power across your base, process industrial gases, and feed Hydrogen into high-output turbines.
The most powerful equipment requires significant investment, but every completed production line makes the next stage possible.
Whether you enjoy optimizing throughput, designing automated factories, building complicated multiblocks, or creating an industrial complex large enough to require its own safety department, Machine Blocks is built around progression, automation, and scale.
Build smarter. Process faster. Create bigger.
The path from stone to steel begins here.
