About this project
What does SoulStone add?
SoulStone — bind the souls of bosses
The deadliest enemies in Hytale do not always disappear without a trace. Sometimes they leave behind more than loot — a soul you can place into a Soul Stone and draw power from that no ordinary gear can match.
It is a reward for fights won. For risk taken. For walking into hell and coming back alive.
Soul Stone — your personal shrine of power
Craft a Soul Stone at the Arcane Bench and place it wherever you want — in your base, in a dungeon, at the entrance to the deadliest cave on the map.
There are three tiers of stone:
- Soul Stone I — for souls from dangerous, lower-tier foes.
- Soul Stone II — for stronger souls from harder fights.
- Soul Stone III — for legendary trophies truly worth the blood it took to earn them.
Each stone holds one soul. Slip one in from your inventory, attune it to yourself, and its power becomes yours to call on — through the Soul Stone emote, when you decide the moment is right. The effect burns bright for a while, then fades and needs time to recover. No infinite spam — just a trump card you earned.
Boss souls — a trophy that actually matters
Defeat selected bosses and elite monsters for a chance to claim their soul. These are rare drops — you cannot buy them, and you will not dig them out of the ground. You have to earn them.
Souls waiting to be claimed include:
- Skeleton King, Void Spider Queen, Wraith, Werewolf, Outlander Brute
- Golem, Yeti, Cave Rex, Trork Chieftain, Void Necromancer
- Ancient Dragon, Death Knight, Hedera, Sarak Bloodmother
Every soul plays differently. Every soul gives a different edge. Every soul is another reason to go back and win that fight again.
Power worth keeping
- Undying Resolve — regeneration and tougher survivability in melee.
- Venomous Agility — faster movement and better stamina recovery.
- Stonehide — more health and harder skin against blows.
- Reaper Stride — speed and stamina for long expeditions.
- Dragon's Might — a massive health pool and fire resistance.
- Death Knight's Oath — a blend of regeneration, defense, and endurance.
Many souls also slow hunger or thirst decay and improve thermal insulation, so they pair well with food, drink, and temperature survival on the server.
More than loot
SoulStone turns boss hunting into something that stays with you. Not just "kill, loot, leave" — but a piece of that victory bound to your character, ready when the next fight gets ugly.
Build the stone. Hunt the soul. Attune it. And show the world what you learned from the things that tried to kill you.
