About this project
What does GlymeraStatuesMarble add?
GlymeraStatues Marble Edition - Marble Mob Statues (Lightweight)
This is the lightweight Marble-only spin-off of GlymeraStatues, made for machines with weak or integrated graphics and for large modpacks: same statues, but only about a third of the full edition's texture load. If block textures turned black with the full edition, this one is for you. The two editions must never be installed together - they define the same blocks, so pick one. Marble statues survive switching between editions in both directions.
Turn every creature in the game into a marble statue. 155 statues - every mob cast in marble - as real placeable blocks, each on a stone plinth sized to fit.
What is GlymeraStatues Marble Edition?
The plugin takes the actual in-game model of every creature and casts it as a solid marble statue block standing on a stone pedestal. These are pure decorative blocks: no AI, no mob behaviour, no entity. Just beautiful statues you can place, mine and re-place anywhere.
That's 155 creatures, covering everything: beasts, birds, fish, livestock, the undead, golems, elementals, void creatures and more.
Pure server-side plugin - no client mod required.
Highlights
- Real creature shapes - each statue is the creature's own model, not a reskinned cube
- Natural marble finish - with a stone-like surface relief
- Size-adaptive plinth - every statue stands on a stone pedestal sized to its feet; the creature and the plinth never overlap
- True relative sizes - a mouse statue is tiny, a whale or rex is a towering monument
- Direction-aware placement - statues rotate to face the way you're looking when you place them
- Pickaxe-mineable - mine a statue to get it back as an item and re-place it elsewhere
- Owner protection - only the player who placed a statue (and operators) can break it
- Light on the GPU - roughly one third of the full edition's texture footprint, and a much faster first join
How To Get Statues
Creative menu: every statue is in the creative inventory under Blocks - search "Statue" or "Marble".
Survival - the Mystery Statue: craft a Mystery Statue at the Workbench and it turns into a statue of a random creature (always marble in this edition). A fun way to collect them.
Crafting Recipe

|---|---|---|
| 3x Greater Essence of Life + 1x Gold Ingot | Workbench | 1x random marble statue |
The creature is picked at random from all 155. The recipe can be disabled in the config.
