About this project
What does Fireworks add?
# Fireworks
Craftable, colorful fireworks for Hytale. Make firework stars from dyed petals, build small, medium, or large rockets at the Alchemist’s Workbench, then click a block to launch them into the sky for a bright colored burst.
### Firework Stars
Ten colored firework stars (cores), one for each dye color
Crafted from matching plant petals and charcoal
Used as the color ingredient when crafting rockets
High stack size for convenient storage and crafting
### Firework Rockets
Three sizes: **Small**, **Medium**, and **Large**
Thirty colored rocket variants (every size × every color)
Rocket color comes from the firework star you use
Larger rockets climb higher, fly longer, and burst with a bigger visual scale
### Crafting (Alchemist’s Workbench)
Dedicated **Fireworks** category on the Alchemist’s Workbench
**Stars:** matching petals + charcoal → colored firework star
**Rockets:** any firework star + Boom Powder + stick + linen fabric scrap → rockets of that star’s color
Cost and yield scale with size:
**Small** — cheaper materials, yields two rockets, common quality
**Medium** — mid-tier materials, one rocket, uncommon quality
**Large** — most materials, one rocket, rare quality
Batch crafting finishes the full batch at once and keeps rocket colors matched to the stars you spent (including mixed colors in one batch)
### Launching
Click a block with a rocket to launch
The rocket flies straight up with a particle trail
One rocket is consumed per launch (Creative mode does not consume)
Short cooldown between launches
Flight time before the burst:
Small ≈ 1 second
Medium ≈ 2 seconds
Large ≈ 3 seconds
### Explosions
Burst color matches the rocket
Each launch picks a random burst pattern from ten styles:
Bloom
Ring
Fountain
Star
Palm
Crackle
Peony
Spiral
Barrage
Glitter
- Dedicated launch and burst sound effects
### Colors
White · Yellow · Red · Blue · Cyan · Green · Orange · Pink · Purple · Black
