About this project
What does VFX Browser add?
VFX Browser

VFX Browser lets you browse Hytale particle effects visually instead of spawning hundreds of them one by one.
Use /particledimension to enter a separate showcase dimension where available particle effects are automatically placed on individual platforms and grouped by their Hytale asset categories. Each effect has its exact ID displayed next to it
It works with both vanilla and loaded modded particle effects.
Features
- Browse Hytale particle effects directly in-game
- Automatically detects available ParticleSystem effects
- Separate showcase dimension
- Effects grouped by category
- Exact particle ID shown for every effect
- Individual platforms for easier viewing
- Map areas help navigate between larger effect groups
- Effects only activate when you are nearby to reduce performance impact
- Broken effects are skipped without breaking the whole showcase
How to use
Run:
/particledimension
The showcase needs a little time to prepare before you are teleported. During this time VFX Browser scans the available effects and builds the gallery, so a short delay is normal.
Once inside, just fly around the different groups and check the effects you need.
To leave the showcase, use:
/particleexit
Aliases:
/particleworld /pdimension /pexit
Limitations
Some particle effects were originally made for weapons, entities, projectiles or specific directions, so they may look different when displayed by themselves.
Very heavy particle effects, especially ones added by other mods, can still cause FPS drops when viewed nearby.
