About this project
What does Orbis Horizon add?

Orbis Horizon is an adventure mod about leaving home behind. You craft your gear at the workbench, carry it in a crate and set it up wherever the road takes you. Pitch a tent for the night, cross the valley in a hot air balloon, and when the world starts to feel small, take to the sky in an airship.
When it's time to move on, everything folds back into its crate.
The wiki has the exact recipes, how to fly each vehicle and the operator commands.
Features
Tents
- The Small Tent is your first step out the door: a bed, a campfire, a stool and a lantern, ready in a second. When you get up in the morning, you step out by the entrance, ready to leave.
- The Large Tent is a proper base camp for two, with chests to keep what you found along the way.
- Right-click the ground with the crate to pitch the tent. The crate stays in your bag, empty. Right-click your tent with it to pack everything away again. Each tent has its own crate.
- Only the player who pitched a tent (or an operator) can pack it. Anything left in the chests or the campfire drops to the ground when you pack up.
Hot air balloons
- Place the crate on open ground and a full balloon appears in front of you.
- Fill the burner with wood or charcoal, climb into the basket and pull the chain. The ground drops away.
- Fly freely as long as the burner has something to burn. Pull the chain again to stop, on the ground or right there in the sky. If the fuel runs out, the balloon sinks gently back to earth.
- The small balloon is for travelling alone.
- The large balloon takes your friends along on its stools and carries chests full of supplies.
- The animal transport balloon has an iron cage hanging under its basket. Lower it onto a meadow, lure an animal in with its favourite food, close the cage and fly your new livestock home.
The Cloudwork airship
- A flying ship with a whole workshop on board: every workbench you need, beds, chests and seats for a crew.
- Put fuel in the tank, stand at the pilot spot and use the helm, the window at the bow, to take off. Use it again to land.
- It floats without fuel and only burns fuel while it moves or turns. It goes where you fly, and at rest it turns to face where you look.
- Building it is a long road, with rare materials from deep in the world.
Balloon stations
- A station is a stone walkway with a landing pad and a hut for the station master. Set one up from its crate and give it a name.
- Talk to the station master, pick a destination, and a balloon with no pilot floats down onto the pad. Sit on a stool and it carries you to the other station on its own. No fuel, nothing to steer.
- Every station anyone sets up is a destination for everybody.
Before you set off
- Everything is crafted at the basic workbench, in the Tinkering tab. The bigger vehicles need an upgraded workbench. Each vehicle is a single recipe, with no parts to make first.
- Hold a crate and you see where the structure will go before you set it up.
- Once set up, a tent, balloon, airship or station is locked so nobody breaks it by accident. Beds, chests, burners and seats still work.
- Friends standing on board when you take off travel with you, seated, and watch the sky from their seat. Other players see you fly by.

- The tents are based on Desert Base Camp - Tent (Model 2) and Desert Base Camp - Tent (Model 1) published on CurseForge, modified for this mod (added, moved and removed blocks).
- Block textures and game assets belong to Hypixel Studios.
