About this project
What does Elemental Knights Migrator add?
Elemental Knights Migrator
A lightweight Java plugin that automatically migrates legacy item IDs from Elemental Knights Pack 2.0.0 to the updated IDs introduced in Elemental Knights Pack 2.0.1
Features
- Player inventories: Converts supported legacy items automatically.
- Chests and containers: Migrates supported items when their containers are processed.
- Preserves unrelated items: Items outside the migration mappings are left unchanged.
- Optional plugin: Elemental Knights Pack does not permanently depend on the migrator.
Before Updating
Pick up all placed Elemental Knights Armour and Weapon Benches before updating to version 2.0.1.
Placed benches are not migrated.
Picking them up allows their item IDs to be converted while they are inside a supported inventory or container.
Installation
- Install Elemental Knights Pack 2.0.1.
- Install and enable Elemental Knights Migrator alongside the updated pack.
- Keep the migrator enabled while players return and existing containers are loaded and processed.
- Verify that the relevant items have been converted before removing the migrator.
Note: Inventories belonging to offline players and containers in unloaded areas may still contain legacy IDs until they are processed.
Compatibility
- Designed for existing worlds upgrading from Elemental Knights Pack 2.0.0 to 2.0.1.
- Once all relevant inventories and containers have been migrated, the plugin can be removed.
- It is not required for new worlds or the normal operation of Elemental Knights Pack.
