No party leaders, no complicated commands, and no unnecessary extras. Just type /p, gather your friends, and get back to the adventure!

Features

Your HUD, Your Way! Freely reposition your party HUD with an interactive visual editor. Preview changes, reset anytime, and automatically save your preferred position between sessions.

Live Party HUD: Keep tabs on your teammates' health and mana at a glance.

Find Your Friends: Directional arrows and elevation indicators help you track down wandering party members.

Status Effects: Spot burning, poison, and healing-over-time (HoT) effects with stackable visual indicators.

Downed & Death Indicators — NEW! See when a teammate is downed or dead directly on your party HUD. With Man Down! installed, a live bleed-out countdown lets you know how much time remains to rescue them.

Shared XP: Split experience equally among nearby party members with optional RPG Leveling integration.

Friendly Fire Protection: Because your friends are dangerous enough without your help.

Simple Party Management: Create, invite, join, and leave parties through one easy /p menu. No party leader required!

Parties Without the Bloat: No teleportation, separate chat systems, or unnecessary extras. Kindred plays nicely alongside your favorite mods.

Customize Your HUD

Your party. Your HUD. Your way.

Open /p and select Customize HUD to launch the visual editor. Meet our sample adventurers, ImaginaryFriend and DefinitelyReal (who's having a particularly bad day), and see your HUD in action!

Use the directional controls to move your HUD, hit Reset to restore its default position, or Done when you're happy.

Your position saves automatically and stays right where you left it—even after relogging. Every player gets their own layout!

Better Together — NEW!

Great adventures are better with friends. Great mods are better together.

Kindred is part of the Better Together ecosystem, a growing collection of optional cross-mod integrations designed to make your favorite mods work seamlessly together without unnecessary dependencies.

Our first integration brings Kindred and Man Down! together for enhanced party awareness during combat.

When both mods are installed:

• Know When Someone Goes Down: A translucent red DOWNED overlay appears on the party HUD when a teammate is incapacitated.
• Race Against the Clock: A live countdown shows exactly how much time remains before your teammate bleeds out.
• Stay Informed: The HUD updates automatically when teammates are revived or die.
• Keep Your Bearings: Health, mana, directional indicators, and status effects remain visible beneath the overlay.

And when someone doesn't make it?

Kindred's built-in DEAD indicator highlights fallen party members, even without Man Down! installed.

Better Together, never required.

Both mods work perfectly well on their own. Install them together for a more connected experience, or mix and match with your favorite Hytale mods.

All features are available by default. Administrators can optionally restrict access using:

Compatibility

Hytale: 0.7.0

RPG Leveling: Optional; required for shared XP.

Man Down! v0.2.0+: Optional; enables the Better Together downed indicator and live bleed-out countdown.

Neither optional integration is required for Kindred's core party features.
