About this project
What does PathWalker add?
Hytale Path Walker
Pick a destination on the world map and let your character walk there by itself. The plugin finds a route around obstacles, walks it, and hands control back the moment you touch a key.
Server-side plugin: install it on the server only, players need nothing.
How to use
- Open the map and right-click a marker: a point of interest, another player, your death marker or one of your own markers.
- Choose Travel there.
- Close the map. Move, jump, crouch or click to cancel at any time.
To go somewhere without a marker, right-click the map, choose Create Map Marker, then right-click the new marker.
The same is available as commands, open to every player:
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/travel to <x> <z> |
Walk to the given coordinates |
/travel cancel |
Stop walking |
Features
- Pathfinding. Steps up ledges, drops down small heights, swims across water, and keeps out of lava and other harmful fluids.
- Long trips. When the destination is beyond the loaded area, the route is extended as you advance.
- Cancel on input. Moving, jumping, crouching, attacking or using an item stops the travel.
- Animations. Run animation on land, swim animation in deep water, visible to you and to other players.
- Camera. Follows from behind and turns smoothly towards the route, then returns to your own view.
