About this project

What does Knight Bodyguard add?

This mod adds a knight that occassionally spawns on the overworld during the day. In order to tame him, you must give him an iron ingot.

Here is a list of things the knight can do:

  • Fight for you (obviously)
  • Hold your items (he will drop everything on death)
  • Heal by himself (always has Regeneration I)
  • Sit, by sneaking and right-clicking him, and then right-clicking, without sneaking, to make him unsit

The knight has 20 health and 10 armor points. He also deals 6 damage (with default sword), and has 3 blocks of reach.

There are also some issues with the mod:

  • Knight may occasionally attack another tamed mob if you accidentally attack them, but it should be fine as the mob will be granted invulnerability until he stops
  • Knight is somewhat slow, as in it sometimes takes him a moment to react to being attacked

That's all there to the mod at the moment, I hope you enjoy it. Also, if you find any issues, please leave a comment. I take suggestions as well, so feel free to make some.
