What does Create: Simple Ore Doubling add?

About

Create: Simple Ore Doubling is a lightweight mod allowing for increased ore yield with Create.

In base Create, the only guaranteed double yield for ores like gold or iron requires a deepslate raw ore block processed into a pair of crushing wheels. For the rest, the best you can get is a 1.75 output on average.

With this mod, you get a guaranteed extra ingot for each raw ore processed into a mechanical press, and up to 3x return with a heated blaze burner.

This mod also adds Slag, an occasionnal byproduct of your ore processing that can be washed to retreive valuable items. Check the recipes below!

Double Yield

  • Any raw ore in a mechanical press with 50mb lava
  • Outputs 2 crushed ores and has a 5% chance of producing Slag

Triple Yield

  • Any raw ore in a heated mechanical press
  • Outputs 3 crushed ores and has a 15% chance of producing Slag

Netherite Doubling

  • 4x Netherite Scraps and 4x Gold Ingot in a superheated mechanical press
  • Outputs 2 Netherite Ingots and has a 25% chance of producing Slag

Washing Slag

  • Has a 7% chance of giving back any ore nugget and a 35% chance of producing x1 Experience Nugget
