About this project

What does Factorocraft Essentials add?

This is a mod primarily designed to accompany my Factorocraft modpack (as well as others of my creation), but may be used in other modpacks as well. Feel free to use it in your own modpack (Do note though that it is intended for experienced modpack makers, as there are no native recipes in the mod and some ore veins are not available by default and have to be configured). If you would like something to be changed, I will take requests (though cannot guarantee I'll be able to address them as I am relativley new to modding). This mod supports other modded ores and dimensions, but does not require them as dependancies.

So far this mod adds the following:

Ore Veins:

-Ore Vein Blocks: The primary feature of the mod. They spawn on the World's surface, can be mined manually (and automatically with other mods on 1.20.1, or using custom machines) and infinitley, and cannot be moved

-In 1.18.2: They spawn naturally with these variants: Iron, Copper, Stone, Coal, Redstone, Tin, Uranium, and Oil

-In 1.20.1 & 1.21.1: They spawn naturally in the overworld with these variants: Iron, Copper, Stone, Coal, Redstone, and Uranium.

-Additionally in 1.20.1 & 1.21.1, extra ore veins can be configured to spawn via a datapack (instructions for use coming in the future. See my Rokkit 2 modpack for examples of all in global_packs/required_data/factorocraft/data/factorocraft/worldgen): Gold, Aluminum, Tin, Lapis, Lead, Lithium, Nickel, Osmium, Silver, Zinc, Titanium, Platinum, Tungsten, Iridium, Desh, Ostrum, Calorite. With all ores enabled the following will spawn: Nether: Gold, Osmium, Platinum, Redstone, Silver; End: Lapis, Lead, Platinum, Silver.

-Additionally in 1.20.1 & 1.21.1, this mod can add certain ore veins to modded dimensions via datapack config, and includes support for the following mods: Ad Astra (Glacio: Iridium; Mars: Aluminum, Copper, Iron, Ostrum, Redstone, Titanium, Tungsten; Moon: Aluminum, Desh, Iron, Titanium; Venus: Calorite, Iron), The Aether (Copper, Gold, Lapis, Silver, Tin). (Note that only certain ores can be configured to spawn in each dimension. All supported ore vein variants are also visible in the config file). Similarly, you can add ore veins to modded biomes, such as from Terralith or Biomes of Plenty, by modifying the configuration (See my Rokkit 2 modpack for examples of all in global_packs/required_data/factorocraft/data/factorocraft/tags/worldgen/biome)

-In 1.20.1 & 1.21.1, you can use a piston in survival mode to destory an ore vein. Ore veins are destroyed by default in creative mode -> This is no longer the case, and an alternative way of destroying ore veins in survival may be added in the future

-In 1.20.1 & 1.21.1, the ore veins now support Create Drills and any other block breaking machines for infinite mining!

New Burnable Fuels:

-Fuel

-Nuclear Fuel
