Food for the Apocalypse adds new types of food and survival items to Minecraft, inspired by post-apocalyptic games like DayZ, Project Zomboid and STALKER.
The mod is mainly made for survival modpacks set in a post-apocalyptic world or similar settings, where food and supplies matter and resources are limited.
> ## ⚠️ Important
> Starting from version 0.6.8, more than half of the crafting recipes in this mod do not work without additional mods. Earlier versions used vanilla recipes. The required mods are listed below.
Features
Canned food and rations
Beef stew, pork stew, baked beans, canned crab, tuna, sardines, sprats, SPAS, canned peaches, MRE rations, instant noodles, breakfast cereals, hardtack and much more.
Drinks
Energy drinks, cola, milk cartons, condensed milk and other drinks.
Medicine
Individual medkits, first aid bags, bandages, aspirin, antiradin and other medical supplies.
Improvised weapons
Baseball bats, machetes, fire axes, crowbars, pipes, kitchen knives, sledgehammers and more.
