About this project

What does EnchantmentLevelBreak add?

This project is a modified version of EnchantmentLevelBreakthrough fork.

Modifications and new features have been added to the original version.

Fabric versions 1.16.5 through 1.21.10 will no longer be supported.

In the toml config file

(Forge 1.20.1 uses version 1.5. NeoForge 1.21+uses version 1.6. Fabric is currently unavailable)

When useRomanNumerals is true, Roman numerals will be used to display the enchantment level.

When allowAnyEnchantment is true, players are allowed to enchant any item using an anvil in survival mode.

When allowVanillaLevelStacking is set to true, using the enchantment level stacking function No.1, which means 5+5=6, can break through the enchantment level limit.

When allowLevelStacking is set to true, using the enchantment level stacking function No.2, which means 5+5=10, can break through the enchantment level limit.

Note: When allowVanillaLevelStacking is true and allowLevelStacking is false, use No.1. When allowVanillaLevelStacking is flag and allowLevelStacking is true, use No.2. When both allowVanillaLevelStacking and allowLevelStacking are true, use No.2. When both are false, use the original Minecraft enchantment mechanism.

This mod can make the vanilla enchantment level cap exceed 255, reaching 2147483647.

However, the level of item synthesis on the enchantment table has not been modified.

In the game, you can use the /cenchant command to enchant all items
Or use the vanilla /enchant command to enchant specific items

Modify the anvil to allow enchantment level stacking. 4+4 = 5 ❎ 4+4 = 8 ✅

Now, you can use config to switch on and off functions, for example:

  • The enchantment of a switch anvil on any items.
  • The stacking mechanism of switch anvil on enchanting levels.
  • Config limits the maximum level of enchantment.

Please find the configuration file in the config folder of the game directory and make the necessary modifications

Find the "config" folder in your game directory and locate the file corresponding to this mod. Generally, Forge/NeoForge is TOML and Fabric is JSON. After opening, you can configure it

  • The final enchantment level, you can break the original 255 limit
  • The maximum supported is 2147483647
  • If you exceed this maximum value, the final enchantment level returned will be level 1. If the Fabric version is too expensive to stack and display levels in an anvil, it can be directly removed, consuming 50 levels of experience (by default, enchantments exceeding 50 levels will be fixed as consuming 50 levels of experience).

WARN:

This mod may break the gameplay, please use with caution.
