About this project

What does The Imitators [Horror][Legacy Version] add?

the recode will be out soon (another modpage)

This is an extremely outdated horror mod, my first mod actually.
The last update it will receive is 1.4.0, a final update just for the mod to end at a stable state.
People know this mod as slop, and it's mainly cause its a pale excuse
to make a steve mod simply because i was bored of all the others.
My main reason was "I wanted a steve mod, but they're all anomalies or dweller reskins"

Features:
Simple climbing, gets stuck at times. (especially on snow layers)
Angered cutscenes, makes you look at the entity.
An imitation of crawling, the hitbox doesnt change but the animation does.

That's practically all of the features, it was a simple first mod.
Let's go over how they look like

Appearance:
Grinning - a grinning steve that transforms into a spider-like body form when aggravated.
Split - a tall, slender steve that splits its face open when aggravated.
Teethed - a huge, buff but slender steve with long arms that can break blocks when aggravated.
Faceless Wanderer - A colossal, blind monster with no eyes or nose and extremely long arms.
Legged - A colossal, dangerous and agile monster with 6 legs.
Torn Open - A steve infected by an imitator's blood, rips itself apart revealing black tentacles when aggravated.

Downsides:
The mod consists of entities with extremely basic ai, with only some features like
climbing, leaping, or breaking blocks. The features are also quite buggy, and aren't
perceived as what they are supposed to be.
The entities are also extremely easy to kill, get one in a combo and
you're able to kill them in just a dozen seconds or two.
The spawnrate is EXTREMELY buggy, sometimes they spawn hundreds,
sometimes they never spawn, it all depends on luck.
The spawnrate issue is fixed in 1.4.0, but at the time of writing this description,
1.4.0 isnt released yet.
