About this project
What does Monsters & Metals add?

A brand new mod full of new mobs & more!
Explore to find new metals such as Tin, Cobalt, Platinum, Titanium, & Platinum.
Use those new materials to create new tools, weapons, and armor!
Beware the new mobs though, as most aren't too fond of players, and are much stronger than you think...
Metal Smithing
Use sand to make sand molds, which used with molten metals, that come from putting them into a blast furnace for a second time, can be used as a more cost-effective way to make tools for Iron, Gold, Bronze, & Tin.
New Biome
A new cave biome known as the Bismuth Caves, full of a brand new ore, Bismuth, used for creating Elixir, perfect for healing up quick and crafting new magical items.
New Dimension
A new dimension titled Crepisculum Mundi, with 3 exclusive biomes, each with their own challenges.* Obtain the Titanium Medallion from a Wandering Trader and use it on an Enchanted Obsidian Portal Frame to create the rift to this new world.
The biomes are:
- The Tropics - A vast jungle with palm trees, coconuts, bamboo, and other normal things you'd see in a not-so-peaceful tropical jungle.
- Eerie Marshlands - A dark and dangerous swampy land where safety is a rarity and natural light is rarer than gold.
- Enchanted Grove - An uncommon land both magical and terrifying, with magical mushrooms and trees
New Bosses
Each biome of this new dimension has a boss that you can fight, each one giving an exclusive powerful drop. To find each boss you will need to search for their Summoning Gems, which spawns in naturally generating structures.
The bosses include:
- The Totem - A large unmoving totem pole which summons lightning and the undead to attack you.
- The Leviathan - An immense aquatic fiend that lunges at the player and throws out puferfish occasionally when attacked.
- The Trapped Souls - A horrifying mass of earth and those unfortunate enough to have died in this world, nearly every time you hit it, even if no damage is dealt, it sends out some form of special attack.
- The Irridescent - Coming soon...
And a lot more! I'd be glad to reply to any questions, comments, thoughts, or concerns!
*Note, upon entering the dimension the portal will most likely spawn underground, I have no idea how to fix it as it doesn't happen all the time.
