Make your oceans more vibrant and lively with new biodiversity and new biomes. Dive into a more interesting underwater world encountering with new marine life, including fish, sharks, crabs and more, adding excitement and diversity to your ocean adventures!
Attention: seagull and jackfish are not released yet.
Features:
- Sharks: this large and imponent fishes will hunt for preys in all oceans (don't worry, they will not leave objects scattered around the world. When they kill a fish, they'll eat the item. You can also feed them.)
Great white shark (neutral): the apex predator of the mod. With its massive size and deadly speed, this marine giant lurks in the deep waters, always ready to ambush its prey. Spawns on deep oceans.
Hammerhead shark (neutral): warm ocean predator that travel the ocean in group. Their wide heads help them to see everything around. Spawns on warm oceans.
Great hammerhead shark (neutral): bigger version of hammerheads that swims alone unlike it's smaller counterparts. While not as aggressive as the great white shark, it remains a formidable predator. Spawns on warm oceans.
Porbeagle shark (neutral): artic small shark related to great white sharks. They will eat only small preys. Spawns on cold oceans.
Whale shark (passive): gentle giant that filters water to eat plankton. It's the biggest fish extant. Spawns on warm oceans.
- Large fish: not all ocean big fishes are ruthless predators. Some are fast swimmers that roam the waters in search of food. These fish are a great resource for fishermen, though catching them can be a challenge due to their size and speed.
Tuna (passive): is a large and powerful fish that roams cold and lukewarm oceans. It travels in schools and serves as a reliable food source for players who manage to catch it. Spawns on cold oceans and warm oceans.
Dolphinfish (passive): also known as Mahi-Mahi, is a colorful and fast-swimming fish found in the warm waters. Its vibrant golden and blue hues make it easily distinguishable. Also, serves as a food source. Spawns on warm oceans.
Sailfish (passive): is a fast swimmer that inhabits the oceans. Its most distinctive feature is its long, sharp "sword," which it uses both to hunt prey. Spawns on cold oceans and warm oceans.
Oarfish (WIP, doesn't spawn naturally): this long fish swims slowly in deep waters, looking for plankton and squids for lunch. Don't fear it, it's a gentle giant.
- Small fish: they bring life to the seas, forming schools that travel the waters in search of food and others swimming alone. Some of them are ideal prey for both players and other marine creatures.
Mackerel fish: this tiny fish will travel with bigger creatures like sharks. They serve as a food source. Spawns on warm oceans.
Silver pomfret fish: They serve as a food source. Spawns on warm oceans.
Lionfish: with its long, striped fins that resemble a mane, this fish stands out easily among coral reefs. But beware: its beauty hides venomous spines that can harm the player if approached carelessly. Spawns on warm oceans
- Crabs: on the coasts, crabs scuttle around with their claws ready. They are a reliable food source and dance if you play music near to them.
