About this project
What does Winter Wonders add?
Winter Wonders
Experience a new type of cold in the snow...
The Winter Frost
Brand new snowy biome that adds grand trees with a new wood type, new stone type, new flowers, and more!
- Grey Pine Trees: New light blue wood type, can be used for various recipes
- Cold Stone: New stone type that spawns in spikes within the Winter Frost, can be used for various recipes
- Ice Flower
- Magical Rose
- Wondershroom: Grows on Grey Pine trees and the Winter Frost floor
Mobs
Snow Wisp
Spawning in any cold biome, these color-changing wisps light up their environment and love to play with each other and the player. Playing with the wisps will entice them to follow you as a mobile light source. Kill wisps sometimes drops Frost Essence.
Pingin
Penguin-like mob that spawns in cold biomes. They're just silly little guys (for now)
Revenant
New zombie-type mob that spawns in cold biomes and can be transformed from regular zombies if exposed to the cold for too long. Revenants don Coldsteel weapons and armor, dealing a new type of Cold damage. Killing a Revenant drops regular zombie drops as well as Coldsteep scraps!
Brisk
Cousin to the Blaze, this elemental mob roams cold biomes and attack the player with a multitude of frozen attacks. Killing the Brisk drops Frost Essence and True Ice shards to make magical weapons!
Items
Coldsteel
New material type! This cold metal sits between iron and diamond tier, but comes with its own benefits. Wearing Coldsteel armor grants different levels of Cold Resistance, which protects from Cold damage, depending on how many pieces you're wearing. Attack with Coldsteel weapons will deal Cold damage as well as Chill enemies, slowing them and dealing slow, but gradual damage.
Frostbite Wand
This magical weapon allows you to shoot Ice Spikes as the cost of durability. Ice Spikes Chill enemies and deal more damage based on what level of Chill the hit entity has.
