NEW 3.0 HUGE UPDATE OUT! (baby ravenous and more!)
- check this drive link for an in-depth version of the 3.0 UPDATE features and fixes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p4GPZClYvppsEJ8OGcBcx_PMnxfvGDD3/view
Features below

An Endless Hunger
A piercing wail shatters the darkness. The Screecher has caught your scent—not to fight, but to summon the nightmare waiting in the shadows. The Ravenous has evolved, and surviving it is no longer just about running away.
From full life-cycle biology and tameable offspring to an overhauled, realistic acoustic system, The Ravenous 3.0 completely redefines your survival experience.
In the shadows, the Ravenous awakens. Not to protect… but to feed. Now it has heard you. And it’s coming.
You can’t hide. You can’t fight. The Ravenous is not just a hunter. It’s a nightmare that grows, evolving with every strike it takes. Its arms extend, its speed increases, every wound makes it stronger, every encounter leaves it hungrier. And as it devours everything in its path, your only hope is silence.
FEATURES:
The Ravenous THIS MOB IS NOT IMMORTAL

Main Features:
🎖 Drop: The Ravenous drops a trophy and his echolocator organ, useful to charge at the max capacity the Anti-Ravenous (description available on the bottom of the description page).
Overhauled Acoustic Tracking
The Ravenous is completely blind. It no longer magically paths to the player—it tracks the exact coordinates of sound waves. Throwing projectiles can distract it, and standing still allows you to slip away.
Details:
Noise Attenuation: Sound loses volume over distance (−1 within 10 blocks, −5 within 35 blocks, completely silent beyond 35 blocks).
Sound Volume Matrix:
Level 6+ (Instant Pursuit): TNT explosions, striking bells, note blocks, fireworks, breaking blocks, striking targets, anvils, and falling >3 blocks.
Level 3–5 (Investigate / Run to Sound): Placing blocks, operating doors/trapdoors/chests, shooting bows, and swimming.
Level 1–2 (Slow Search): Eating, drinking, or getting into bed.
Stealth Tactics:
Wool blocks and carpets reduce action noise by −3 (building with wool is silent).
Rain (−1) and thunderstorms (−2) mask quiet activities.
Crouching cuts proximity detection range in half.
🛠️ Block Destruction: The adult Ravenous smash through almost every block type except obsidian and bedrock. Its roar snuffs out torches, lanterns, campfires, and candle arrays, breaks glass, and fully drains respawn anchors.
📢 Devastating Scream: If you try to escape by climbing a pillar or hiding high up, the Ravenous will unleash a powerful roar. The shockwave will send you flying, leaving you stunned for a few seconds, making your screen shake.
🦴 Progressive Evolution: Every hit the Ravenous takes makes it stronger. It grows in size, becomes faster and more aggressive. Its mouths multiply, its claws extend, and its roar starts dealing damage. Attacking it is never the best choice.
🍖 Insatiable Hunger: The only way to distract it is to feed it. You can sacrifice a Villager or 10 animals (small animals count as half). If the Ravenous is full, it might lose interest… at least for a while.
🥚 Cycle of Hunger: Each time the Ravenous devours prey, it may leave behind a Screech egg. The more it feeds, the faster the threat spreads. Its hunger never ends… it multiplies.
🥚 Night Eggs: Sleeping through the night carries a threat. On rare nights, an untamed farm animal near your bed may be consumed, leaving a Ravenous Egg in its place.
The Screech
The Ravenous is a distant threat… until the Screech brings it straight to you.

Main Features:
🎖 Drop: The screech drops his echolocator organ, useful to craft the Anti-Ravenous, and can load 1 charge.
🌙 Origin of the Screech: The Screech spawns naturally in the dark of night. It searches, it finds… and it will scream.
🦷 Bite and Run: The Screech doesn’t fight directly. It attacks with small bites and then moves away.
📣 Predator’s Call: The Screech will try to scream at the first opportunity. If you don’t stop it quickly, it will do what it was born to do: summon something much worse. If the Ravenous is not nearby, it will spawn.
🌱 Lethal Growth
If a Screech is left alive for too long, it will grow and become an adult Ravenous. Ignoring it only delays the inevitable.
🥚 It's Morphing Time: After 5 minutes, every Screecher morphs into an untameable Grub destined to become a full-grown Ravenous
Meat Block

(crafting works with any meat type)
Main Features:
Life-Cycle Manipulation: The sole purpose of the Meat Block is incubating a Ravenous Egg into a tameable life path rather than a hostile monster (more is explained in the "baby ravenous" section below)
The Bio-Scanner

Hold Right-Click to scan targets from up to 15 blocks away. The Bio-Scanner instantly catalogs data on any entity or living block
Scanning Main Features:
Ravenous Organisms: Shows egg hatch timers, touching Meat Block counts, Grub stage progression, feeding checklists, and predicted growth outcomes.
Living Creatures (Vanilla & Modded): Displays HP, speed, armor, aggression state, baby growth timers, breeding cooldowns, owner data, and unique genetics.
Flora & Growth Blocks: Tracks growth stages, light levels, growth viability, and countdown estimates across 174 block types.
Biological Memory: Scanning a species once enables instant readouts for all future encounters with that mob type.
The Baby Ravenous (Companion)

Creatures no longer merely spawn into existence, they hatch, morph, and evolve across distinct phases.
New Egg Evolution tree:
Ravenous Egg
│
├── 5+ Meat Block faces around it ──> GRUB ──> Fed in all 3 stages ──> BABY RAVENOUS (Tamed)
│ └── Missed any stage ────> RAVENOUS (Hostile)
│
└── Missing Meat Block faces around it ─────> SCREECHER ──(5 min)──> GRUB ──> RAVENOUS
The Grub (3 stages):

Evolves across 3 stages (1m 40s each, 5 minutes total). Feeding it raw meat shaves 25 seconds off the current phase and marks the stage as fed.
Success: Feed the Grub during all 3 consecutive stages to tame your own Baby Ravenous.
Failure: Miss even a single feeding window, and it will mature into an apex, hostile Ravenous.
Main Features:
Combat & Hunting: Defends you against hostile threats and hunts small game (chickens, pigs, sheep, rabbits, frogs). Wild Ravenous and Screechs ignore it unless provoked.
Grindstone Diet: Crouch + Right-Click with an enchanted item; it consumes the magic and returns your gear fully unenchanted.
Material Recycling: Crouch + Right-Click with a non-enchanted item; it chews for 4 seconds and gives back 50% of the item's original crafting ingredients (supports modded recipes).
Modes & Behavior: Right-click with an empty hand to toggle between Follow and Patrol (roams within a 20-block radius). Crouching breaks its acoustic lock on you (cuz he can't see you, like the Ravenous) , and it freezes in pure terror if a wild adult Ravenous draws too close.
Anti-Ravenous
A powerful weapon, as the name suggests, it could be useful in a fight with The Ravenous.

Main Features:
😵 Stun: When activated, the Anti-Ravenous will instantly Stun the Creature for about 7 seconds, leaving it in an excrutiating stun animation. Hurt it when you still have time...
🔊 How to use: Hold right click to Stun The Ravenous.
📢 How to charge: Hold an echolocation organ (obtained from the screech) in the off-hand and the Anti-Ravenous in the main hand. Then, crouch and click the right mouse button.
🧨 The charges: The Anti-Ravenous can be charged with 2 organs:
Screech's echolocation organ, 1 charge given
The Ravenous's echolocation organ, Max charges given
Configs/Commands:
/ravenous spawn <n> Value range(``0 – 400) Default(``100) Adjusts wild Ravenous spawn rates (0 disables).
