Pixel Trance

PixelTrance is a mod that brings to the art of hypnosis to Minecraft, blending immersive trance mechanics, item-based induction, and RPG-style progression. Designed for both singleplayer and multiplayer, the mod aims to give players and mobs ways to interact with each other through hypnotic influence.

WIP Disclaimer

This mod is very much a WIP. It is being re-made from the group up in NeoForge. There is limited functionality in the 1.20.1 Fabric version, some of which can be found on GitHub releases or the Wiki.

All features are subject to change.

Planned Features

• Trance Meter: Tracks a player or mob's susceptibility to hypnosis.
• Hypnosis Items: Tools like pocket watches, pendulums, and candles each induce trance differently.
• Passive & Active Induction: Use immersive focus-based mechanics or optional mini-game-style mind duels.
• Skill & Perk System: Progress as a Hypnotist or Subject with unique perks and abilities.
• Hypnotic Effects: Trigger visual and gameplay changes as trance deepens (fog, slow movement, obedience).
• Multiplayer Support: Fully synchronized player-to-player hypnosis with optional consent mode.
• Custom Mobs (planned): Creatures that hypnotize, resist, or can be influenced through suggestion.

Development Status

PixelTrance is currently in active development. Major systems and core gameplay are being built.
