What does Weapons Expanded add?

  • Melee Weapons

  • Rapier: A small, light, piercing sword

  • Shortsword: A small, light sword

  • Sickle: Slightly slower than the sword, with slightly higher damage

  • Glaive: A balanced sweeping weapon with extra reach

  • Longsword: A heavier sword at the cost of speed. can swap between one-handed and two-handed grips using the default keybind 'V'

  • Scythe: A two-handed heavy hitter with extra reach

  • Greatsword: A huge, slow, two-handed sword

  • Katana: A two-handed sword with extra speed

  • Hatchet: A small, light axe

  • Morningstar: Smaller than an axe, but faster

  • Hammer: Heavier and slower than an axe

  • Battleaxe: A huge, slow axe

  • Warhammer: The blunt side can stun shields like an axe, and the sharp side can sweep enemies like a sword. You can swap between them using the default keybind 'V'

  • Halberd: Has a two-handed sweeping mode with extra range, and a one-handed piercing mode with even more range, but less speed and damage. Swap between them using the default keybind 'V'

  • Ranged Weapons

  • Longbow: A long-range bow that takes longer to charge.

  • Chain Crossbow: A crossbow that can hold multiple projectiles, and then be fired in quick succession.

  • Heavy Arrow: Loses less speed than a normal arrow, and can travel farther

  • Dynamite Arrow: An arrow than can only be loaded into a crossbow, and explodes on impact. Takes extra durability off of the crossbow.

  • Enchantments

  • Withering: An enchantment for melee weapons, applying the Wither effect to any entity hit. Removes the poison effect of any entity hit. Incompatible with Fire Aspect, Frostbite, and Polluting

  • Frostbite: An enchantment for melee weapons, applying the Frostbite effect to any entity hit. Incompatible with Fire Aspect, Withering, and Polluting

  • Polluting: An enchantment for melee weapons, applying the Poison effect to any entity hit. Incompatible with Fire Aspect, Frostbite, and Withering

  • Freeze: An enchantment for bows that applies the frostbite effect to any entity hit. Incompatible with Flame.

  • Leech: An enchantment for shields that heals the player when they block with the shield, but the shield takes more durability damage, and when the shield is struck down with an axe, the player takes partial damage.

  • Cleaving: Increases shield stun time of axes and similar weapons by +1 sec per level.

  • Capacity: Increases the magazine size of Chain Crossbows.

  • Auto Load: Automatically loads Crossbows while in your inventory. Takes twice as long as manually loading them. Incompatible with Quick Charge.

  • Nether's Scourge: Makes weapons deal more damage against Nether mobs. Incompatible with Sharpness and other damage enchantments.

  • End's Bane: Makes weapons deal more damage against End mobs. Incompatible with Sharpness and other damage enchantments.

  • Effects

  • Frostbite: This effect mimics the effects of powdered snow, making the entity slower, and take damage over time. Can be removed by fire. Can be brewed into a potion using blue ice.
