Description:
Apothecary is a potion expansion designed to introduce a diverse selection of potion effects that enhance both utility, combat and more. With many new beneficial and harmful effects included this mod offers a more lively alchemy experience, with it also including some potions for existing vanilla effects as well. While also including some overall potion related features such as potion effect descriptions or world events.
This mod comes with extensive configurability so you can customize potions/effects to your liking.
As of now this mod adds 26 new effects
Effects:
Positive Effects:
Iron Skin - Provides +4 armor points
Diamond Skin - Provides +4 armor toughness
Magic Shield - Provides +2 Magic shielding
Archery - Increases projectile damage by +3
Wrath - Increases all damage dealt by +10%
Flight - Grants creative flight
Reach - Increases reach by +1
Repairing - Repairs items in inventory at random intervals
Magic Power - Increases magic damage by +10%
Mana Regeneration - Increases mana regeneration by +25% (irons spellbooks)
Thorns - Reflect 20% of damage dealt back to attackers
Purification - Grants immunity to all harmful effects
Spelunker - Shows the location of nearby ores
Extension - Increases the duration of all active effects
Negative Effects:
Broken Armor - Reduces -4 armor points
Ruptured Armor - Reduces -4 armor toughness
Misfire - Decreases arrow damage by -4
Feeble - Decreases all damage dealt by -10%
Vunerable - Increases damage taken by -20%
Magic Drain - Decreases magic damage by -10%
Magic Exhaustion - Decreases mana regeneration by -25% (irons spellbooks)
Confusion - Inverts controls
Corruption - Grants immunity to all beneficial effects
Burning - Sets you ablaze with fire doing more damage per level
Shocked - Decreases movement speed by -50%
Lightning - Summons a lightning bolt
Shuffling - Randomly shuffles player inventory
Reversion - Decreases the duration of all active effects
Vanilla Potions:
Health Boost
Wither
Luck (recipe)
Resistance
As of 1.5.0 this mod also includes some attributes that go along with the new effects
Attributes:
Damage Resistance - Increases or decreases damage resistance, replaces vanilla resistance mechanics with this attribute
Damage Multiplier - Increases or decreases ALL damage dealt, used in wrath and frail effects
Jump Height - Increases or decreases jump height based in blocks, replaces vanilla jump boost with this attribute
Dig Speed - Increase or decreases the players dig speed. replaces vanilla haste with this attribute
Magic Damage - Increases or decreases magic damage, used in magic power and magic drain effects. If irons spellbooks is installed this will also increase spell damage
Magic Shielding - Increases or decreases magic resistance, used in the magic shield effect, if irons spellbooks is installed this will also increase spell resistance
Projectile Damage - Increases or decreases projectile damage, used in archery and misfire effects
All of these attributes also apply to any living entity (besides dig speed)

Apothecary also adds new game mechanics called 'world events' that make effects more interactive, As going about playing the game you could get inflicted with a dangerous negative effect or a positive one. These events can spice up gameplay quite alot, adding an exciting layer of unpredictability to gameplay.
There are many world events involving new effects added by this mod, some of these include:
World Events:
Vanilla Events:
- Broken armor effect can be inflicted by explosions when wearing armor
- Ruptured armor effect can be inflicted by explosions when wearing armor and the damage of the explosion reaches a certain amount, also applied by piglin brutes
- Direct lightning strikes can inflict the shocked effect
- Any mob attack can inflict the feeble effect very rarely
- Blazes can occasionally inflict the burning effect for a short time
- Illusioners can inflict the confusion effect rarely
- Allows witches to throw many new potions added by this mod when attacking a player
Compat Events:
- Necromancers can inflict mana exaustion and magic drain (ironsspellbooks)
- Blood can inflict indolence (biomesoplenty)
- Acid can inflict corrosion (alexscaves)
World event features will be expanded upon
Also adds a few potion related features that should exist in minecraft (all configurable)
Adds an option to make potions have an enchanted glow (disabled by default)
Adds an option to change max potion stack size (vanilla stack size by default)
Adds an option to enable potion description tooltips to display what the effect does (disabled by default)
Highly inspired by Enchantment Descriptions!

This mod also adds an armor overlay thats highly inspired by potion core, this adds over-capped armor, armor toughness, and resistance overlays (may be expanded upon)
This mod is planned to expand more on effects and mod compatabilities
Retextures for most effect icons are planned
