About this project

What does Beacon Rework add?

Beacon Rework

This mod adds a variant of the vanilla beacon that works differently and requires upkeep.

Up to 7 layers are supported of any valid beacon block including full copper blocks. Range is increased by 32 blocks for each layer.

Payment must be provided to the beacon

There is no GUI so new effects are added by adding different mineral layers. The layers must be homogenous or no effect will be added and they can be in any order on the pyramid.

Supported Layers:

Copper - Speed 2; Note, oxidation/waxed state doesn't matter, they're all treated the same

Iron - Resistance 2

Emerald - Night Vision

Gold - Regeneration 3

Diamond - Haste 2

Netherite - Strength 3

Enderite - Hostility Purification; prevents mobs from spawning within the Beacon's range; Requires Enderite Mod to be installed

Any block that isn't here but tagged as a valid beacon block can be used to help construct the beacon, but will only add range without any effects.

Note: this mod was designed for the PS1 Edition pack but can be used anywhere.
