About this project

What does Mind Palaces add?

Even a bedrock box can be a palace if you start dreaming...

Adds a custom dimension in which each player gets their own small bedrock box they can use.

You travel to the dimension when sleeping in any dimension having a clock in hand. You get back by sleeping in your Mind Palace, or after staying there for the whole night.

Everything is configurable, so

  • The size of the Mind Palace (default 5x5x5)
  • What item you need to hold to enter the Mind Palace
  • How long you are allowed to stay for
  • What dimensions you cannot travel to your Mind Palace from
  • and a few other less important ones

This mod was mainly done to escape the parasites from Scape and Run: Parasites for a moment to be able to upgrade gear and sort the inventory in safety. But ofc this mod can be used for various things.

Its kinda like an Ender Chest just as a Dimension, just a custom area only you can enter and personalise.

To ensure the privateness of your Mind Palace, i added a few anti-griefing mechanisms. Might need more in the future.

  • The bedrock walls will regenerate every x ticks
  • Players in survival will always teleport back into their own Mind Palace if they find a way to leave it
  • There is no way of have any living entities inside the whole dimension (config option)
  • Explosions are disabled in the whole dimension
