A lightweight plant-focused mod introducing a variety of new flora, the Silk Moth and its unique silk crafting process, decorative potted plants, iron pergolas with climbing plant support, and a full food and brewing system built around crops.

This vanilla-friendly mod blends naturally into Minecraft and pairs especially well with Dawn of Time and Armor of the Ages. It combines exploration and discovery through new plants, creation and craftsmanship around silk production, and a growing ecosystem of cross-mod integrations.

Silk

  • Find mulberries in flowery forests or taigas.
  • When fully grown, a Silk Moth may spawn.
  • Kill it to obtain silk eggs, then hatch them with mulberry leaves in the Drying Tray.
  • Silk unlocks recipes in Garden Trails, Dawn of Time, and Armor of the Ages.

Food & Effects

Every edible plant now has a distinct identity with status effects on consumption :

Drying and fermenting your crops unlocks stronger, longer-lasting versions of these effects.

Bamboo Drying Tray & Transformation Chain

The Drying Tray is the core of the crafting progression. It transforms raw crops into refined ingredients :

Dried Maize and Dried Grape provide stronger and longer-lasting effects than their raw versions. Fermented Rice is the base ingredient for Sake. Fermented Mulberry Juice is used in the Mulberry Sake variant.

Sake System (requires Dawn of Time)

If Dawn of Time is installed, the Sake Bottle is no longer purely decorative. Combine it with Fermented Rice at a crafting table to unlock a drinkable Sake with a stacking mechanic, each bottle changes the effects. The rewards grow with each drink, and so do the consequences.

Three variants can be crafted using crushed ingredients :

Iron Pergola

The iron pergola handles the climbing plant feature. It supports Grapes, Ivy and Vines, place the plant at the base and let it grow.

Grapes

To harvest grapes, you have to place the fruit you can collect from wild grapes on the pergola. The fruit will grow until you can haverst it when it appears purple dots on the fruit texture, once they turn dark, you can collect the seed to plant it again.
