About this project

What does Drifter add?

📖About:

Drifter is all about traveling through rifts in time using hoverboards! So far, there are 2 biomes, 3 drifters, 2 bosses, 4 guns, 4 ammo materials, 2 ammo types, and a bunch of unique structures and mobs!

🌀The Rift:

🌌 Enter the Rift!

You can access the Rift Dimension through a mysterious Rift found in the Riftwright’s Home!
The Riftwright is also your key to getting your very first Drifter.

⚠️ No Return Portal!

When you enter the Rift, a return portal won’t spawn with you — you’ll need to find a Return Rift to make it back home!
Once you re-enter the Rift, you’ll return exactly where you left off.

🛠️ Progression

Bring back items the Riftwright asks for to upgrade your hoverboard and unlock new features and biomes to explore!

🛹Drifter types:

Drifters are the main form of transportation in the Rift Dimension — fast, stylish, and each with its own unique ability. You can get them through the Riftwright, who upgrades your board as you bring him rare materials from the Rift!

⚙️ Default Drifter

Obtained From: The Riftwright (starter board)
Ability: Basic hover movement
Description:
Your first step into the world of drifting. It hovers smoothly across the Rift’s terrain and serves as the foundation for all future upgrades. Reliable, simple, and the key to beginning your journey through the Rift.

🪞 Mirror Drifter

Obtained From: Mirror Core
Ability: Repels nearby mobs
Description:
Forged from pure reflected light, the Mirror Drifter keeps danger at a distance. When riding it, enemies are pushed back, giving you breathing room while you explore or fight. It’s perfect for players who want a defensive board that keeps the heat off while drifting through chaos.

🌲 Forgotten Drifter

Obtained From: Forgotten Core
Ability: Boosts forward when pressing R
Description:
A relic of a forest long lost, this drifter channels the energy of life and decay to propel you forward. Tap R to burst ahead, breaking through obstacles or speeding across the landscape. Ideal for explorers and speedrunners.

🌳Biomes:

🌵 The Glass Wastes

A once-vibrant desert turned entirely to glass. No one knows what caused it — a cataclysmic explosion, or something far worse?
Explore 5 unique structures, encounter 4 strange new mobs, and challenge a glass-forged boss that guards the wasteland’s secrets.

🌲 The Forgotten Forest

Once alive with color and life, the Forgotten Forest now stands in eerie silence. Massive trees loom over crumbling fortresses, their walls overtaken by the cries of the lost.

Strangely, small bastions lie hidden among the trees. Who built these fortresses? And more importantly… what were they hiding from?

Explore 5 decayed structures, encounter 2 haunting mobs, and face a spectral boss.

💀Mobs/Bosses:

🪞 The Mobs of the Glass Wastes

The Shardling, Gleamer, Glintling, and Shatter Sentinel roam the glassed sands.
Each one reflects the shattered beauty and danger of the wasteland.

🌲 The Mobs of the Forgotten Forest

Deep within the ruined greenery dwell Mortem and Mori, spectral beings tied to the forest’s forgotten past.

💀 The Bosses of the Mod

Aithrê, the Fractalis of Glass, rules the Glass Wastes.
Defeat him to obtain his Core, used to craft the Mirror Drifter, which repels nearby mobs.
He also wields a sword that fires searing lasers of pure reflection.

Oblitus, the Specter of the Forgotten Forest, emerges among the fallen bastions.
Slay him to claim his Core, used to forge the Forgotten Drifter, which grants a boost ability when pressing R.
He also drops a massive axe that can summon spectral geysers to shred your enemies.

If this sounds enjoyable then download!

Needs Geckolib, Kleiders custom render, Curios, And Player Animator!
